Here is my 1991 Mercury Sable LS Wagon. Absolutely love this car! 117k, digital dash, EATC, and leather seats. Picked it up for $1,600 from LaGrange, GA back in December.
Only OGs will Remember this guy being a railfan who lived in Wyandotte Catching a lot of Cool stuff in rather interesting crossings that always malfunctioned, and more things like that lol
@@texasboykc09 Yea same. He lives in South Carolina now And from what I Remember, he also railfanned near the Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum as well Between Tennessee and Georgia, somewhere around there, and it seemed kinda different because the crossings were different, and freight trains were running through it according to what I saw in his videos (well, there is in fact a junction that takes that museum line onto the NS Main line) But nontheless, his videos were pretty good. He Inspired most of my railroad interests. And one time I wanted to visit Wyandotte to see if the crossing were still the same lol (Well tho, according to Google maps, most of the crossings got upgraded, but not all of them. Some remain the same as his videos to this day!)
Gorgeous car! Such a rare example of a preserved beauty from nearly 30 years ago. These older Sables, especially the wagons, are becoming harder and harder to find nowadays.
Brings back memories, I drove exact same car even the paint matches, threw a small mattress and drive it all over east coast and crossed country to California. My only problem is sleeping at night during summer season. Get really hot regardless of windows opened or not. I remembered going through the hoover dam with a high school buddy. They blocked off that path now but back before they turned it in to a hoover park, the road ran straight through the dam and we made a quick stop to take pictures. This was when the water was full not like today. We headed in to vegas when it was the old vegas and none of the newer casinos were built.
I have a 1992 Taurus GL wagon but have long wanted to find a decent first gen that wasn't completely rusted out. My dream car is a custom '86 Sable with an SHO swap, painted slick black.
Could you kindly swap out the chime in this Sable wagon with the electronic chime tones from a mid-80s Chevy or Buick and the airbag steering wheel with a no-airbag steering wheel from a 1985-87 Mercury Grand Marquis?
Hi, i am looking for part for sable 1990 model year. I need the valance panel or the whole front bumper. May be do you know junkyard where it is possible to find and arrange shipment in another country? Thanks 😊

@@texasboykc09 Sold off most of the signal stuff when my parents moved. Just have some bells, GRS LEX-C lights, and a gate mechanism still.

That car looks like a nice treat. Don’t see many of these anymore.
This sable is pristine! I myself am on the hunt for a 1986 ford taurus LX wagon for future restoration.
