Maye needs to develop his skill of remaining in the pocket to read the feel. Give him a number one WR and watch him cook. We already know Maye can use his legs to extend plays. Jayden Daniels is by far exceeding Caleb Williams and is a lock for Rookie of the year.
The problem with Daniel's is that his arm is pretty average but he's really mobile to make up for it and seems pretty accurate. Caleb Williams isn't as accurate or as mobile "still pretty mobile" but Williams has a much bigger arm than Daniel's and can throw on the run alot better and from arm angles that you don't see from Daniel's. Drake Maye on the other hand is mobile, has a big arm, is accurate, can throw on the run and from all arm angles. He can do everything that both Daniel's and Williams do well. The only knock on Maye was his age and inexperience. He will be better than both Williams and Daniel's. He has Daniel's mobility and accuracy but also Williams arm strength, arm talent and ability to throw on the run. Maye is better than both already in my opinion if you just watch them play and for the fact that Maye has the worst ranked oline and no good wrs but still does well. He is making his team better. And he has the clutch gene as seen in college.
I’m still not sold on Caleb Williams, I don’t buy his mental makeup, not saying he will be bad but I think Maye and Daniels will be more successful if both can stay healthy. But Drake has been the most impressive with how he has looked with a bad roster
@3:16, "RG3 got ruined by Shanahan" might be the most ill-informed assessment I've ever heard. The coaching staff performed miracles to win with him at QB that first season. [If you're criticising the team for injuring his knee, then yes, absolutely, but not for how he was coached.]
Maye can throw the ball, just look at every game hes played this year. Drop after drop after drop. You cant tell the man to stop making plays with his legs, hes a naturally gifted playmaker, both on the ground and in the air. HE NEEDS HELP, its not rocket science, get the man some ballers so he can show us how he is with talent around him. Caleb has the most talent on offense of the 3 qbs and he looks pretty average.
Don’t worry, Wolf will run it back with the same receiver room, draft a guy with short arms in the top 10 (Will Campbell will end up as a guard in the NFL IMO), and Patriots fans will eat it up. We need a front office that’s actually going to take risks and add real playmakers. Enough of these KJ Osborn level receivers, it’s not good enough for a quarterback like Maye.

Way too early to say Drake Maye is legit and going to make it. He still hasn’t had a game preseason or regular where the receivers have more receiving yards than rb’s and tight ends… very telling… also, he needs to be able to play more than a couple games without getting hurt. In my opinion he needs to improve field vision to accomplish both of these things… which is incredibly difficult to teach… some have it… some don’t… we’ll see.
@ I agree that the team lacks talent especially on offense. I’m of the opinion that that was the problem the past two years and that Mac wasn’t the problem. But, what I mentioned is also visible on Drake’s college game tape. For all the highlights film plays he makes he has head scratching unforced bad throws/interceptions and takes way too many big hits. I think it’s premature to anoint him.
So ridiculous to say May is a Legit NFL Guy. It's also ridiculous to say he's not. Can we pump the brakes until he has a bunch of games in different situations vs just two games. One where a team wasn't trying half the time and the other against the only team that's maybe worse than the Pats
