I personally prefer yellow gold and my skin pigmentation is very white / pinkish but I also do sometimes wear white gold or platinum along with my yellow. I find that white gold works incredibly well for body piercings like earrings, nose rings, belly button or nipple rings as it maintains a kind of aesthetic symmetry which is pretty decent and yellow gold works well on fingers or as jewelry in general. Both look great in my opinion but I favor yellow for it being so vibrant and unlike silver or brass colors, it brings a nice color to a metal unlike any other. And you can definitely tell gold usually between other metals unless it's alloyed. The best one for you depends on your undertone. If your veins show as green, your a warm undertone and would look best wearing yellow gold. If your veins show as blue, your a cool undertone and would look best wearing white gold.

Blue or purple veins typically indicate that you have cool undertones and white gold/ silver jewelry will most likely be flattering. Green or olive equates to warm and yellow gold will flatter. And if you cant tell and have a mix, blue-green veins suggest that neutral undertones are in effect which means BOTH white and yellow gold can be complimentary when worn. Of course these are not rules set in stone and you can wear whatever suits your fancy. But if you're unsure about what looks best- it's a good place to start.

It's affordable, doesn't scratch and there are alot of cool designs for stainless steel chains and bracelets. When i say designs, I mean the links for the chains and bracelets. I have a couple of stainless steel chains that I love. I also have like 2 or 3 stainless steel rings and I also have a stainless steel I.D. bracelet.
Stainless steel is good u dont have to get it kleaned every year and it doesn't scratch easy one other thing i like is people think im rocking silver but its just stainless steel😂😂😂

Platinum is VERY dull it does not shine, it's silver that is shiny, white gold (rhodium plate) is off white and platinum is matte in appearance. But Platinum is VERY disincentive and it does not plate over materials well - meaning if it's platinum then it is probably solid and real, jewellery thieves know what platinum looks like, the reason they snatch platinum instantly on sight is because they know instantly and for a fact its real and worth a lot, wearing platinum chains in a bad neighbourhood is like having a target on you, with gold it could be plate so they will try to look at what your wearing or driving to distinguish if you could afford that piece and sometimes they'll not risk it as it's not worth catching a case over a fake chain but platinum is an instant snatch because they know its a guaranteed cash in.
