@@CurculescuGabriel many thanks. Just hesitant betwen this and NetAtmo that is still easier to setup (the logic is in the box), as Valves to control individual rooms. But as now Geofencing and I think the AI is poorer.
Thanks! My combi boiler is also powered by 220V supply, but in my case the two wires from pin 2 & 3 are low voltage. If your wires from the combi are looking like mine, probably are low voltage.
Intrebare, cand termostatul decide ca e timpul sa opreasca centrala ce se intampla, se taie alimentarea la centrala si se stinge de tot sau doar se opreste aprinzatorul? Si cand termostatul reporneste centrala ce se intampla, centrala reporneste in modul normal de utilizare sau iar trebuie sa apesi pe butonul on/off?

As you know in this model of Ariston to activate the radiators we have to turn on manually in the respective button . The Nest or another thermostat (if you know) is capable to do this action without touch the respective button? Thank you once again.
Curculescu Gabriel OK. I've been looking at several vidoes of people installing the 3rd gen Nest, but only one using OpenTherm so far. Is OpenTherm a very new and rare thing maybe?

jppataki I think it's the same thing about connecting the thermostat. The same principle.

Is the Nest Thermostat compatible with the model: Ariston Clas X 24FF?
Amazing video, I've just one question: Are those pin 2 and 3 low voltage wires? Because my combi's all 220v and I'm not sure if this setup is for me.

Hi! I don't want to mislead you, but it's the same principle. In Ariston will enter 2 electrical wires for controling it. Cheers!

+sjokomelk the nest only controls when the heat goes on/off based on the inside temp
