There is nothing like a good bike trip! Definitely have at least 1 more for this year, definitely a great year for bike trips! Where's your favourite place you ever had a trip on a bike?
Ah! WV is beautiful. I am close (Pittsburgh, PA) will attempt that ride later this summer/early fall. As far as which bike?....Either would be fine but I would lean toward the V-Strom. Actually, I would prefer the bike I just finished setting up for sport touring....a 2019 Z900RS.... Akro headers with Ivan tune and airbox mods, Shad SH23 side bags, Chic Design Masque Road bikini fairing (color matched) and a nice tail bag. Comfy and sporty ( I'm 6ft and 170lbs). I am looking forward to some trips on it! I don't think there is such a thing as too many overlooks....not that I would necissarily stop at all of them but it is nice to have those options! Excellent video Dude! As always, I enjoy the content. Keep 'em rolling! 😎🍻🏍👍
It really is! You absolutely should, especially on that bike I think you'd have an absolute blast :) I want to do a lil trip on the Z soon and see how my body holds up to it. I dunno could I do the mileage I do on the vstrom, but more stops and such and I might be absolutely fine. Nice setup there also :) Haha I agree, but I end up stopping too much, they're too tempting 😂
I have nothing but sympathy for Hatter having to live in this area 🤣😂🤣 I don’t think it would matter what you ride in West Virginia. Usually never enough out looks in beautiful areas like that 😎🤙🏻
It's a rough life, I think about how hard he has it on a daily basis tbh :D Very true, anything with two wheels would be lovely tbh. The BRP almost had too many to be honest :D You'd be stopping every 3 miles :D
Too many scenic overlooks can be a bad thing, for sure. Especially on busier days, which don't seem to be a problem where you were. I can't believe how few cars you were seeing!
@@markfortin8286 or just a distracting thing 😂 End up stopping too much, and yes when they're busy it's not ideal. Stop man it's amazingly quiet there.
West Virginia is really beautiful. I've yet to do anything on a bike in the US ... but ... one of these days. So many great roads, views, scenes, people, food ... etc. Actually, loads of places in the US are lovely ... just so much to explore and such variety. Not jealous, honest.
It's such a nice place, and that burger we had cost 6 dollars which in this day and age is basically free. It's almost literally an endless supply of roads to explore, like I don't know how I'd ever get the time and money to ride all the places I want to :D Hahaha no need to be jealous, you have a nice bike and house I think :D
I overlook far too many overlooks (we call them “lookouts” in Aus) with the premise they will get better. Inevitably I regret not stopping especially when there are no more overlooks. I would happily ride either bike. Both awesome.
That is honestly the challenge when faced with lots of them, I have turned around for really good ones before but it has to be like......amazing to cause me to spin around :D Lies. Tell the truth, you dream of Stromboli.
What a terrible, no good, awful place that West Virginia is! 🤣Hatter's warnings to stay out seem important. I'd ride either bike, probably the Victory first and the VStrom second, but I could be convinced to swap that. Never enough overlooks when you’re on a scenic trip.
Hahaha they definitely are, I 100% would never visit again for longer 👀 Stromboli is wounded, saddened even. But also accepts your decision with grace as befits a vstrom. While I agree it's great to have lots of them, they're too tempting and I end up stopping too much 😂

Rode it yesterday on my Springfield. What an absolute lovely ride. Highly recommend everyone put this on the list.
I'm very glad you got to do it!! It's a lovely spot.
Almost heaven. West Virginia. Blue Ridge mountains. Shanedoah River.
TAKE ME HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOME COUNTRY ROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOADS
Stunning views, and a great road Weird how wind buffeting stops when you stand up.
Its cus you get really weird airflow over the beak and screen combo, I'd love to have a wind tunnel to test and build a screen that actually works.
Love me a chunk of trees. That’s what I call em. A chunk.
Me too, it's the perfect description imo.

That's fair amigo.... but the lovely rocket loves you
I tried an older V-Storm. Not big enough for my stature. Maybe a newer one may be apt.
Try my one. I double dare you.

Honestly if it wasn’t your Stromboli and instead my own VStrom that would be ideal. Ya know?
Absolutely, you could make that happen :P
