    Thank you so much Sixteen for your incredible concerts and recording of this unbelievably moving piece!!!! It is a true masterwork. I have to confess, I wasn't enthralled the first time I heard it, though I don't know how I couldn't have been because after coming back to it again and hearing your recording, I was absolutely moved to tears!! One particular part with the violin solo just completely squeezes your heart. :-) One other thing.... if you are looking for a Stabat Mater setting, you said that Rossini's setting didn't do it for some of you.... have you ever tried Dvorak's setting? Dvorak's setting of Stabat Mater is another masterpiece, and one of my absolute favorites!! Maybe when the pandemic and restrictions are lifted..... :-) Just a thought.... :-)
