Side Effects was the first Stray Kids MV I ever watch and I was sold on them ever since. Also yellow wood is the second part out of 3 of their CLE series (MIROH was the first part)
These boy are really hard workers and like to leave a kinda open-endedness/mindedness to their story lines and their music. Chan (the leader) even once said that any conclusion we come up with is the answer, as long as we find the meaning in it. One of the things I think you'll be interested to know it that Stray Kids is very much a self produced group, a majority of their productions are done by 3Racha (Chan, Changbin, and Jisung), the lyrics are mostly written by them and the other members, and the dance line (Minho, Hyunjin, and Felix) have an influence in the choreographies for their songs (along with other members sometimes). Also, if you want to see more of their personality and music at the same time, I would suggest their Street Version music videos that they film all by themselves (especially Boxer, Question, and N/S). It might be fun for you to watch either on camera or on your own time. Once again thank you for your reaction and I look forward to your next video. I think SIDE EFFECTS is about the doubts and thoughts you have after opting for a choice, you would undoubtedly think of the other road you didn't tread (ROAD NOT TAKEN is an intro to this Yellow Wood album which is the title of a famous poem by Robert Frost which is obviously about thoughts & regrets about the other road a traveller did not choose to take)
Actually all these mv are connected since they belong to a serie named Clé (Key in english). The Album Clé 1 with Miroh, the album clé 2: Yellow wood (Side effects is the main Title of the album) and final album Clé : Levanter

They are all ages between 19-23ish and they produce,write and choreograph all of their songs! There are three sub sections 3racha - the producing team who write and make all of their songs and are the groups rapping line (although others rap as well) it’s made up of Changbin,Han and Chan (the leader) The vocal line - woojin (sadly left) Seugmin and Jeongin (I.N) they are actually the two youngest with IN being the makenae. The dance line- Hyunjin,lee know and Felix all rap as well with singing parts as well they are the main dancers of the group HOWEVER despite the sub sections all of them can dance,sing and rap and they have the most versatile songs from Get cool,to victory song and then on track (released a week ago tomorrow)
Also the MV is about the side effects of their journey. Like in MIROH it’s the start they are diving in head first and starting their journey out of CLE(CLE is their district/world) and then they aren’t sure if it’s worth it there heads hurt the side effects are kicking in, but then they find a door out of CLE which is when we get LEVANTER. But I also really like your analysis

This song does say “my head hurts.” You’re description of the song is actually one I hadn’t thought of but it makes a lot of sense. If you listen to the back ground vocals where the guy is saying “side effects include...” he starts naming off things that can be related to anxiety and other things as well. So this song likely has multiple meanings. This one I understand the least out of all of their music but I love it just as much as everything else. Again, thank you my dude for the awesome reaction. In Side Effects MV, they all choose the part which No Body takes. That’s why they are not on bus and on another kind of car. The lyrics are meaning of side effects when they try to do something new instead of trying old one. “ My Head hurts ” , because of taking new parts, they have suffered from a lot of things and that’s why they sing it. There is scene like they are looking bus from outside and they are sleeping inside. IF they take the bus, it might be better but they want to find themselves( which is theory from Music Videos before Side Effects ) And They try new things so they Choose parts Nobody takes. In MV, the one who throw away camera from other is called Hyunjin. He seems to unlike this road. We don’t know yet. But what I know is the other is trying to take pictures when they are in trouble so Hyunjin make him stop. All these theories are from Fans and There is no true theory yet.
