Man I feel the exact opposite. I'm a super antisocial person but if someone was this enthusiastic I'd be loving it. I wish there was anyone like this in my area. I did 3 shadow Lugia raids this weekend and only ever saw one person who left as fast as possible 😏
We had a group of 18 that pretty fast dwinleded to a group of 12 and eventually 6 because the spawns of the actual raid was that bad.... Tbh it was a failure of an raid event on that front.
Get mobile and coordinate raids thru campfire. No excuses out here boy. Me and the homie did around 40 raids this weekend. 2 purified hundos and 2 shinies.
I agree that most people aren't as lucky. Especially if you play in an area where not a lot of people play it. E.g UK is much less active than somewhere like HK. However letting it able to be remote raided will be abused by p2w. I think that letting the first shadow legendary be able to be remote raided is a better solution. A, collectors are happy. B, ppl in remote areas are happy. (If some in niantic reads this please implement it.)

Try campfire. I literally have the same problem but campfire has host that set up meet ups around your city. & if that works, come out to Antioch, California. I’ll raid with you. Lol

I woke up on the first day and saw a shadow lugia raid not too far away hatching in 7 minutes. I got ready at lightning speed and ran over. It was definitely worth it as I got a shiny 2*. My first raid and a shiny. I’m still in disbelief! Edit: To clarify, I did not solo the raid. I’m only Level 35 and I did it with 10 other people. Sorry for the unclear comment.😢

I absolutely agree. I drove around a college in Houston and joined about 15 other people from campfire. Hit up about 30 raids and I can honestly say it was the worst experience I’ve ever had with POGO. If I could punch that bird in the face, I would have 😂 Everyone with me got high three stars and a shiny but all I got was mid af one to two stars. Couldn’t believe it. And I drove and had to pay for gas! Ripppp
I omly managed to do like 3 lugia raids last weekend, and caught 2 out of the 3 i did, both had sucky ivs, and non shint unfortunately. Although i atleast do have severla shiny non shadow lugia, but still a shiny shadow is still something a bit more different and nicer, but im not mad as atleast i do have the shint shadow M2 from kast summer. So im guessin the 3 legendary beasts/big cats will be next, then followed by their Master, Shadow Ho-OH. Shadow Raikou in particular is one i really want, as i dont have a single shadow raikou as of yet, and it has a gorgeous gold colored shiny, that I would be so happy to catch a shiny shadow of Raikou and especially since its the #1 elec attacker. Shiny Shad Entei w/ it's silver mask/crown piece on its face is also a Suttle but nice shiny, similar to how shiny Umbreon is.
As it has a higher dps, tdo and ER value than Mega Manetric as an electric attacker so to see a Shadow not only have the obvious higher DPS than a Mega, but also TDO and ER as well?, that speaks alot as to how powerful that mon is
I got a shiny 3* on my third raid in my second account….then i thought wow getting shiny lugia wasn’t that hard then i tried to get it for my main account and it took me 17 raids to get it…it was frustrating……but i got a purified hundo the next turn

its not really hard to take it down with 3 people, i only did a few & got a shadow shiny on the 2nd day... as long as you have shadow hundo pokemon like rock types you will be okay
I love the idea but I live on 300 acres the closest town is 30 min away and it’s dead the next other town is 40 min away and also dead I hate these in person events

they really need to make 5* shadow raids remote. They act like everyone can roll up to a poke gym with at least 7 people.

My son got a shadow Lugia first battle! Needless to say his weekend was made! We did a photoshoot in the full moon! Love this for him!

I had the same problem, try throwing right when he’s about to finish his back flip and turning on ar helps with throwing the ball further
I learnt to wait till after an attack if it doesn’t go into another right away throw the ball like a 1 second window

Yea don’t bother with this raid, They say it’s 1/20 chance but i did 117 raids and only got 2 shiny lugias, Such a scam

i did 20 raids for shadow lugia, first one was a shiny but with bad IV and rest werent shiny nor 100%, best one ive got was 92% i think
