- In this video we build a winter bushcraft camp. We bring no tent just 2 tarps and build a snow tarp and bough shelter with a fire inside for warmth and for campfire cooking. My wife Heather and our dog Bella help build the shelter and we all stay overnight in deep cold below -20 C. This is in Ontario Canada

Your dog is legit the best pooch ever and they helped carry the camping stuff 😄
Most healthy (not overbred lap or hobby breeds) love, or even NEED to have jobs to stay happy.
This pup looks like they are proud to help out.

❤️❤️❤️
I really enjoy your short videos as much as the full length ones.
In a future video, could you please demonstrate how you toggle the loops on your tarp edge to the ridge-line? I’d like to learn how you do that in detail. I’ve always just used prusiks and toggles. Your method looks easier and faster. Thanks.
*And I still don’t think that you, Jim and your wives could set up camp and cook dinner in the daylight if you had to 🤣🤣🤣
Haha i don't think we are able. And nothing special here with the ridge line the tarps has their own lines on the corners we just used the ridge lines as reinforcements with sticks through the loops between the 2 main corners. Not really a replacement for your mentioned go to systems
This is so incredible..livin in a cold temperature..how can you do that??
✌👍👍
Damn I’m obsessed I wish I can do this .. let’s see if my boyfriend is on board. Either way I’d do it my self . Hope to learn more

Thanks for the vid. Learned new stuff! I don't understand the large gap in the top though. Can someone explain why?
It's so the smoke from the fire can get out
@@samspielmann7704 it's so large. I'm confused. Doesn't it let all the heat out?
Smoke
@@MrBonebus I understand it needs to vent but it's a huge gap. How does it keep the heat
@@KathyMcDowell1 it keeps the radiant heat, but without that gap being large in a space that small you could die. But it shouldn't be too bad inside, and they have gear for that weather too
hello
Hey 👋
What kkkk
Il doit vraiment faire froid si vous êtes obligé de mettre un manteau au chien…
Can you reply my comment 🙂
Hey whats up🤙
Hello, I'm a subscriber of your "main" channel, and just found this one. I like silent bushcraft videos, they are very relaxing. But your videos in this channel has too frequent cuts, they didn't feel very relaxing to me.
Ok thanks for the input ill try to make them longer and more relaxed
