余沛霖演出《巴格尼尼主題狂想曲》第十八段變奏 18th variation of Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini by Avan Yu

拉赫曼尼諾夫根據巴格尼尼於第二十四首無伴奏小提琴《隨想曲》中一個的簡單旋律，編寫成純金一樣奪目的傑作。而《巴格尼尼主題狂想曲》當中最為人熟悉的一段，莫過於出現在經典愛情電影《時光倒流七十年》的第十八段變奏曲。拉赫曼尼諾夫在此將「巴格尼尼主題」的音程上下顛倒，變成最扣人心弦、令人讚嘆的音樂。

Rachmaninov took a scrape of a tune by Paganini from his Caprice no. 24 and spun it into pure gold. Dazzling and deliriously romantic, the 18th variation of Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini is still the most familiar tune nowadays that appears in the classic romantic film, “Somewhere in Time”. Probably one of Rachmaninov’s most famous creations, we hear Paganini’s theme turned upside down in this variation.
