I want to go to America someday and get an education from you. I play amateur baseball in Korea and enjoy throwing a 60km knuckleball and a 90km fastball. I'm not using a nail grip yet, I'm throwing using my knuckles.
I'd be glad to come to Korea. I've been to Korea twice. I love your country, especially the barbeque, dumplings and soju. If we can gain enough interest in a knuckleball clinic, and it pays for me to go to Korea, then we can make it happen. Message me so we can work on a Korea Knuckleball Clinic.
I'm hoping the Knuckleball lives eternal with my small business -- Knuckleball Nation. I learned from the best, like Hough and Niekro, and I'm trying to pass on their secrets to the next great Knuckleballer
He's a roving pitching coach for the Dodgers, but no MLB team really fosters the pitch. Even the Dodgers when they have this legend on their staff. But I've been working with Alex Blandino a couple times per week. He's a former first-round draft pick and MLB infielder making a comeback with the Reds as a full-time knuckleballer. I think he's got a shot.
Pitch.Patches, for sure. It's the best thing about sports and it highly underrated and misunderstood. And that misunderstanding was a real road block during my pro career with it.
I'm about to start cranking out weekly RUclips videos all about the knuckleball, and it's already started. Let me know if there's any topic you'd like covered and thanks again for the kind words.
I saw all three videos the two kids and this guy they’re mechanics is way off and they have no idea that they’re in presence of a legend and Charlie is just being nice. That’s just the kind of guy he is.
Here's another guy who can't pitch conventionally to save his life. I don't see a shred of athletic ability in him, either. Yet when he throws the knuckleball, he approaches becoming a pitcher. And better with each delivery. Chris, have you advised this guy to exclusively throw knuckleballs? He's wasting his time throwing anything else.
Fastball is only 75, and this guy is talking about making a run at the pros. 😂 Can't even make the collage starting line-up unless it's community college. Talk about delusions of grandeur.

Long live the knuckle ball.

Hough had a great knuckler. its good to see him still active and passing along the knowledge to mastering that knuckleball pitch

Great vids! Thank you for sharing! Always loved the knuckle ball, trying to learn it, so I can try to help my kid with it.
