      I would say Bayley did too. Ppl kinda forget that her heel turn was kind of a flop when it happened, but she and Sasha were the MVPs of the pandemic Era, and I'm talking EARLY pandemic Era, before they got to the Thunderdown. Her character and mic skills improved greatly in those fanless shows.

      @SyxxPunk 2 месяца назад +38

      @richardmbanaso2422 I think it's the little things.
      Like Danielson says, it's Theatre vs Cinema. Theatre is all grand gestures and implicit imagery, Cinema is about minute details and explicit imagery.
      When Austin slowly faded and then passed out when he was trapped in the Sharpshooter, that's Theatre.
      When Reigns would grab Jey Uso by the face and pull him close to the camera, berating him about how he's the only one that can shoulder the responsibility of being champion, that's Cinema.

    Roman saved wrestling, plain and simple. Not in the way Austin or Hogan did by literally preventing the company from going under, WWE is obviously already a global superpower now because of what past wrestlers did. But WWE for the longest time, well before the pandemic era began, was uncool. Basically after the ruthless regression era ended and WWE failing to make other top stars aside from Cena and Orton killed wrestling. The top gimmick being all PG and basically a glorified company kissass (love cena but that’s what he was) wasn’t cool to most fans, especially after witnessing wrestling in the 90’s and 00’s. Then Roman came around, realized wrestling was in need of something different and by god has he delivered. His change to the tribal chief has single handily helped make wrestling cool again, it’s helped create several top stars, gave us the best stories we’ve had in decades, and that’s just the start. 10-15 years from now, everyone will be talking about the greatness of what Roman did in the 2020’s
