My existence is a joke, but this is certainly an extra funny part of it
That’s weird, because I can’t seem to laugh at you.
Listen, I won’t even pretend to understand your feelings or what you’re going through at the moment. How could I? And I’m not going to give you empty words of “It’ll get better soon.” or “Surely it’s not that bad.” Because that would be ridiculously insensitive.
What I can say with complete honesty, is that it’s _possible_ for things to change. It’s going to suck, hell things probably feel awful right now, but it won’t be forever *if* you can keep trying.
In fact, if you’ll allow me to make a very brazen statement here: I do not permit you to make fun of yourself, ever.
Now, take the time you need first. Think, relax, clear your head. Then, I ask that you do something nice for yourself. Make a cookie, take a walk, heck even do something a little silly like making a pillow fort. The point is to do literally anything purely for the joy of it. Then from there you can keep building. (Figuratively to take care of yourself in case you’re actually making a pillow fort.)
Note: I have spent approximately 25 minutes trying to word and edit this reply to offer comfort, however blunt it may be. Therefore I expect a return on my investment and that you spend a minimum of 50 minutes just for yourself. Selfish, I know, but too bad.

This reminds me of a time back in the 8th grade where I was supposed to go see Ghost Rider 2 with half the kids in my class, and a girl I liked had invited me. For like two weeks we all planned this in depth hang out. Long story short I showed up and got stood up by 15 people including the girl I liked. When I asked where everyone was most of them played it off with a bunch of excuses the rest of them told me it was a joke, which apparently I wasn’t in on.
I ended up going to see the movie by myself, walked out early and went to McDonald’s, got 10 McDoubles and loitered in my local Party City for a little bit till I had my pops come pick me up.
I can’t lie. They got me good, real good. But back then I was really hurt. I had severe trust issues for a long time after that, anytime anyone asked me to go out or hang out I was highly cautious and suspicious. I would always think it was a joke to make fun of me or someone wanting to hurt me emotionally 😂. That followed me into my early twenties lol
That was a long time ago though, I got some much needed therapy over the years and I’m cool now 😎 thanks for reading my TED Talk on being pathetic 🙏🏽

@@mindfulmessasmr I just hope the majority of them went on to gain a moral compass, it'd be terrible if they stayed the same and went on to hurt more people in their own individual lives. Beyond that, I can't even be bothered to think of them lol. Bad people and bad things shouldn't occupy anyone's mental

This audio was a beautiful mix of so many emotions, and I wanted to hug the listener so hard during this audio. Popular Mindful trying to understand why the listener was skeptical about her asking them on a date was really fun to listen to!
Could we please hear more audios with the speaker trying to figure out the listener’s reasons for why they’re doubling her? It was really sweet to hear her being so patient with them.
You did an absolutely amazing job of conveying how much Mindful wanted to ask the listener out on a date, how confused she was when they said no, how curious she was about their reasons, how she tried her best to convince them that she was being genuine, how surprised she was when they told her to convince them during their date, how happy they were that they decided to trust her, and how determined she was to show them that she was being sincere about her intentions, Mindful!
The listener and Mindful’s dynamic was really fun to listen to with how she tried to figure out why they were skeptical of her intentions being genuine and how surprised she was when they ended up agreeing to go on a date with her. Hopefully they’ll have fun getting to know each other during their date!

Lmao she was really struggling in the beginning but she pulled through in the end. I guess she's used to being the one asked out not doing the asking. Still her revealing her more awkward side is pretty genuine and I'm sure led to the Listener believing her. They have quite the eventful date or dates planned. I hope they have fun.

“Yes” XD I like how the Listener was all for doing everything once they realized they could trust Mindful.
This was a heartwarming audio, or “that could be heartburn” haha. Seriously though, it was really sweet how Mindful was patient with the Listener and was willing to put herself out there to slowly get through to them. That’s not something most people would do, and I think that’s why the Listener let their guard down.

The “journey [you] take every night” bit makes me think of dreams, and it would also make sense with the scenes and stories part as well. They may not work with the “flight” mention at the end since dreams can involve flying but if we take it literally as in “You’re not physically flying” then that resolves the issue.
Basically I’m sticking with “Dream” XD. Have sweet ones by the way.
