Currently building an MK Arrow F3A plane from days of Yore, What a change in construction techniques between the 70s/80s F3A scene and the current one. You model is looking awesome, I hope it flies well.
Cheers. I would say though that this type of building isn't typical of a modern day f3a model, the majority of f3a models now are composite. I guess it's easier to 'mass' produce composite models than wood ones. Not as much fun to build though!
Looks so easy, but I know it`s a lot of work. You have best skills and I like the time lapse, wonderfull, keep on the result will be woth any working hour, good luck!
So sick I'm just a 3d guy and a carpenter and to watch it in progress and see the end product and sheer size is insane..... Are you gonna glass and paint it or are you gonna use covering?

Hi no, I don't have a problem with CA. Balsa dust does irritate my sinuses a bit though, which can be tricky. I can only sand balsa a few minutes at a time. Yes, some of the strips I wet to get round the tighter curves.

What glue do you use ? Is it permanent (waterproof) ? It seems to cure very quickly.

Doesn't the AC glue bother your sinuses? Also , do you pre soak your pieces prior to glue up?
