I started crafting about 10 yrs. Ago, got discouraged and it's been almost 3 years since I've done any crafting at all. I turned to your channel by accident and have gotten so motivated. I've been crafting non-stop for weeks now. You've brought so much happiness to my world, me and my children want to thank you. They're so excited to see me craft again, it brings so much happiness to my whole family. You're incredible, your talents are unmatched. Thank you again.
Thank you! I'm so happy to hear that you are crafting again! I feel like nowadays there aren’t as many people that want to make things themselves because of either the availability of ready made items or the fact that they just never learned to do it. I just love the feeling of making something for myself and catering it to my specific needs. I hope you continue to enjoy your crafting and I really appreciate you taking the time to watch what I've made.😊
I just came across this channel also. I have been in a downhill battle myself😿😿5yrs in February I had knee replacement and I have been spiraling. Had to so much happen and I still can’t walk by myself!! 3 rehabs many many A lot a zillion hours of physical therapy 😿 ohh and home health care. I just literally got sick by being sick and tired 😿ohhh I mustn’t forget good Ole Covid!! That was why I had surgery in the first place I lost my job then had surgery. I also found out I have “blood cancer” Leukemia. So basically “nothing” can be done so I totally gave up. House is in shambles hubby of 54yrs has been so much help but I hate that I can’t do more 😿 all I wanted was be able to get better….. seems that it is what it is! My sewing room / craft room are over following lolol I’ve got so much stuff and hubby has about convinced me to throw it out 😿😿 I’m so glad I haven’t!! Now to get some kind of order!! I miss my crafting! I’m not ready to die yet!!! lolol so I can relate 💗💗💗
Your work and talent is incredible. Along with the music, you make me believe I could do this if I tried and if I took my time. That’s what makes me respect your work so much. You put the time and effort in. Makes me want to stay subscribed and not end the video early. You’re making creations that are worth watching. Not the same exact DIY as everyone else. Kudos to you! Have a blessed weekend!- Kristin
Exactly. I agree 100%. I stopped watching crafting videos for 2 years because it seemed every channel was an advertisement for IOD products and expensive paint products on every video, so everyone’s projects just looked the same 🥱. Instead, I learned graphic design in those two years, and I started watching crafting videos about a month ago, thinking maybe things had changed, but, nope, it’s still the same. I even played a little game, with myself, to see if I could guess what the channels would be making…and I guessed almost every fall craft they made, because they are the same thing year after year, video after video. 🤷♀️ You can tell when someone loves what they do versus just doing what they have to, to get a paycheck, hoping to make it big someday. I am so glad I found this channel, she is so creative, she is always doing different things, and I like the way she teaches.
You are truly amazing The pumpkin and the cat are truly unbelievable how you made them I totally lose myself watching you Thank you for sharing your talent and ideas ❤😊
It’s crazy, I was just watching a few videos, earlier today, on how to make your own paper mache clay..and here you are doing paper mache. I think the woman I watched was Johnny at the ultimate paper mache channel. It looks so fun.
Your talent knows no bounds! So unique and charming. The cat is just unbelievable, because you made it from literally nothing from the ground up. Thank you for sharing these with us. Really enjoyed watching you create these decos!
Great job! And your instructions as you were making these were so easy to follow. I think I’d give it a try! Thanks for sharing! Vintage Christmas when the time comes?😉🤞
PLEAAASE TURN ON CLOSED CAPTION ability! I know YT closed caption isnt the BEST, but it helps those of us that do have a hearing impairment ESP where we cant read lips, lol! Thanks so much! I wish YT would just have it ON as an automatic setting when videos are uploaded, then just let the VIEWER turn it on if we need it or off when we dont. Even though Im partially deaf and have been my whole life, I dont always need it on. I def do when I cant see the person whose talking face, lol! Thanks and love the bucket transformation!
Thank you! The paper mache is a dry mix I purchased at Hobby Lobby. You just mix it with water and it's ready to use. There are paper mache recipes on the internet but I used the mix because I already had it on hand.
These are wonderful! Would you mind to post the supplies that you used? I'm particularly interested in the type of antiquing wax and the glue that you used. Thanks!
Thank you! I used watered down Craft Smart white glue (from Michaels) for the initial layer with the paper towel. I used Titebond Quick and Thick to glue the base onto the cat bottom. The paper mache mix is Nara Paper Mache paper pulp from Hobby Lobby and the antique wax is Behr brand purchased from Home Depot. I hope this helps!😊
A few questions from an inexperienced crafter: What sort of paper towel are you using? It looks like the mass produced kind you find in gas station bathrooms, the thin white kind. Also, is this acrylic paint? Thanks so much! I really like these buckets. They remind me of the Halloween decorations my mom used to put up.
Thank you! The paper towels I used are just the store brand from Kroger. I just wanted something that would add a bit of tooth for the paper mache to stick to better. Most of the paints I used were Waverly brand chalk paint just because I like that brand. You could absolutely use acrylic paint for this.
Michelle, I agree! I can’t stand listening and watching her cackle like that! She thinks she’s a comedian! Is anybody laughing besides her? And furthermore, I can’t listen to her lying ads from now until the election! I’ll have to just quit watching tv! Thank you for telling us the truth about what’s going on! Love you!❤

It is supposed to be on an automatic setting. I'll double check to make sure it's on. Thanks for letting me know it didn’t show up.
These are wonderful! You wouldn’t know that they are not antique pieces.
Thank you!
Love love the cat so much. Can you tell how you make the paper mache. Ty

@@Peppercreekcottage It does! Thanks so much!
I love what you do. I want to try it myself. I understand using paper towel at first. What is it that you are using to sculp the faces?
Thank you! I'm using Nara brand paper mache to cover the body and sculpt the faces.
My toxic trait is that I absolutely believe I can do this and it not look like a first grade art class project. 😂😂
They are easier to make than you think😁

Are you wearing your pjs?
If you are, then I am not the only one who crafts in pjs.
I am😂. I'm one of those craft whenever you get the chance to.🤭

What in the world is your problem? This doesn't seem to be the correct venue to spew your nonsense.
?
You are very talented!! Those are so cute...❤❤❤
