      I think it’s one of the three biggest in the world. I know only two with 3 man and pedals and my instrument is one of them. The disposition is not very authentic, I conceived this instrument in a practical way. It’s supposed to be moved very often and possible to play all the organ repertoire from the renaissance to Mendelssohn.
      In the disposition, it was important for me to have 2 man on the organ, an open principal 8 and a 16’ reed.
      The dimensions had to be small. The organ with 5 1/2 stops is in fact just 63 cm deep! The only compromise is the electrical transmission to the pedal.

    Nice. But-- why is the registration reversed for the Tutti? Seems hpschd better for the soli sections, a fuller organ for ripieni?

    • @organiste
      @organiste  3 года назад +2

      Thanks. The harpsichord give a more orchestral dimension. The principal 8 form the organ is also coupled.
      The flute 4’ as solo is like a recorder and in a historical perspective not so bad as solo.
      There’s a lot of possibilities with this instrument. Certainly other ways to do this, but at this moment I think it is the best solution.

    Très beau, merci ! Le clavecin organisé mérite vraiment d'être re-découvert ! J'ai juste une réserve sur le changement de registration à la fin, ça n'apporte rien musicalement, ça coupe le flux du discours, et ça fait un peu "effet d'interprétation" si je peux me permettre 😊

      @organiste  7 месяцев назад

      Merci pour votre commentaire! L’idée était de mettre un peu de brillance à la fin en ajoutant le 2’ La quinte n’étant qu’un dessus, elle disparaît pour les dernières mesures. J’aurais probablement pu gérer le flux un peu mieux.
