Damn, sorry about the black background. It's very chunky and that's because I chose the wrong export options. I lost data in the deepest blacks and have now figured out how to keep those. In the future, videos will be of higher quality. If you have any questions about the building process, don't hesitate to place your question in the comments!
This is fantastic work. Kotobukiya kit tend to take a lot of more work to look good compared to gundam kits. The panel lines inscribing really take it to the next level.
Wow thank you! And yes, I think you're right. The Koto kits take way more work. I think this kit took me the longest to finish by a good 100 hours. The XN Raiser, despite being larger, took less!
What an amazing build ! I myself will start working on the Rayleonard Krasnaya soon, planning to make the red metallic finish, with matte finish on the dark grey and black parts.
damn was just thinking about building this last night and was contemplating if i should make custom panel lines. what you did here looks soooo good! thanks for the inspiration! :)
Hola, watching your video now. Great work! Also subscribed. Keep up the good work and thanks for the tips, on displaying and photography. Ordering some black poster board today. "God's in His Heaven and all is right in the world". I will be sure to share on my social media. Keep up the great work.. Also that Hazel II scribing really inspired me. Gonna try that this summer.
My friend i just a beginner of hobby model of mechs and gunpla, BUT DAMMMM!!! This kit, this finish job makes my mind blow dude... This i call art... Sorry for the bad english,i'm Brasil, and don't write so much on english, keep doing this great work...i gonna hurry to buy a armored core kit...
I like the way camera moves itself in every corner that's really reminds me of the game in "view mode". Hopefully to see next build kits AC+MSG, great work man it so detailing. (Gladly some build artist still appreciate armored core franchise)
Haha, hey bro thanks for the shoutout! Well, I got it all built. Then I knew I had to wash the resisn. Did that and figured I would just toss the base parts in too. Well, dont ever do that 🤣 it basically melted it and alot of it cracked. I only put it in for 5 mins but luckily I have another base dark matter. So I cut it all out again last night and will be able to actually prime today. So yah, Gaia notes resin wash, no go on Polystyrene lol leason learned....that footage looks great though! So clean and crisp! Keep it up man, the subs will come!
I would use plexiglass or anything that will mute the lights that you use into soft light rather than being hard lights. Also itd be great if you use green (for bright) and blue (for dark) instead of black so your exposure doesnt go out of wack. You can still recreate the black or white background despite the green or blue background by underexposing your shots
@@proxidevo9164 NP, just look up "green screen vs blue screen" and "shooting exposure to get black or white back grounds" and also "b-roll photography shots" I think you have a really good set up and great eye but if you are looking to look more professional, I would check those up. Too Long: Didn't Watch version: Green screen for light shade colors (except green of course) Blue screen for dark shade colors (except blue of course) You need proper lightning (like 2 flashlights on each sides with a paper or something to block and disperse light ~soft lighting) and a strong light in front (where your camera is looking at directly). You can turn the aperture really high (so the hole gets smaller) like F11 or higher so only your subject with proper lightning is getting shown (which means, your background wont matter. You won't even need screens to hide them. Or you can just set up a camera in one position and have a 3 sided background (much like your pentagon but the 2 walls are missing). Get a cheap rotating platform to rotate your subject (as long as the platform can accommodate the size and weight) I like your lighting set up here. It has the "mecha in a warehouse" or "showcase" lighting feel to it. You can also try to imitate other YT's set ups. Most of them may actually not talk about it so you'd just have to figure it out yourself. But for the most part, the have the set up that I told you for rotating b-roll shots.
The Aaliyah/Alicia (especially the Unsung configuration) is my favorite Armored Core design, and I love what you did with it. I just ordered the Opening Ver about a month ago and I can't wait for it to get here, though I may not build it just yet until I get an airbrush (I'm currently painting my gunpla by spraycans). Looking forward to more great builds from you! ❤
In the AC4/FA artbook, page 65 is dedicated to a scrapped idea where the elbow of the Aaliyah arms hides a sub arm that connects to the bottom of the Marve rifle (the panel line on the butt of the rifle is supposed to pop out to function as a handle) to improve stability and handling during operation. I wonder if anyone has tried recreate that function in the model kits.
Personally, I think you went a bit overboard on the scribing. There’s a fine line in my experience between just enough detail and too much. I like the philosophy behind the panel lines I just personally think there are too many of them. You did a very good job on it though so I definitely respect your skill and drive even if the aesthetics aren’t as much to my taste. Keep up the good work man, you got a sub out of me.
Looking back at this piece, I definitely agree. I can see how I was trying anything that came to mind for the sake of trying it. The legs especially. Check out my more recent works. Definitely toned back the quantity and increased the variety. Thanks for chiming in!
This is an awesome work! The details and the colour and crazy the back weapons Holder looks like from AC3. Oh well still cool! Is there other poses you can make? Or is unstable?
Sorry for the delayed response. The opening song is from Armored Core For Answer: Something is Always Moving On the Surface. And the track that repeats is by Drake Stafford, called Beehive.

Thank you very much!
Im so glad the fandom for Armored Core hasn't died yet
I hope it never dies. But we need a new game!

Bro, you're awesome! Thanks for the generous praise. Best of luck with your builds.
Awesome ~ great detailing ~ 👍👍👍

Oh no! Well, that's the way it goes. Hope it didn't get you too down. But it sounds like it didn't. Better luck on this next one.
ProxiDevo Mech Models ya it sucks, it set me back a day but I actually have a spare kit so not too big of a deal. $50 lesson lol

Could be worse! You said priming is up next? What primer you using?

It's baffling that this is only sub 1K views.

Thank you! Unfortunately it is too unstable.
@@proxidevo9164 Aww! So it needs sort of stander or something
Whats that song at the beginning thooo
Someone is Always Moving on the Surface. It's the title theme for Armored Core: For Answer.
What are the OST lists in this vid btw?
Sorry for the delayed response.

@@proxidevo9164 ayt2 ty!! I know the opening song but the rest of the bgm is what I want to know
Looking kinda weak. Would be a lot better if you had dual gats and flesh rocketts.
