- After weeks of travelling Sri Lanka, we have to continue our travel adventures in a different country. Drumroll… we are travelling to INDIA. So this is a Sri Lanka to India vlog as we fly from Colombo, Sri lanka to Channai, India. And as you will see in the vlog we met RUclips Royaltiy, the Vagabrothers. We have been watching these guys for years and couldn’t believe our luck to be bumping into them.
This will be our first time in India and we are slightly scared but super excited at the same time. Join us for this amazing journey as we are planning to travel through Chennai, Goa, Mumbai / Bombay, Rajasthan including Udaipur, Jodhpur, Jaipur, Agra and New Delhi and so much more. It’s going to be amazing and we can’t wait to share the trip of a lifetime with you all.

In India if you like mountains you can visit Himachal Pradesh, Ladakh, Uttarakhand, if you want to goto desert then goto Rajasthan, if you want to goto best beaches in all of Asia then goto Andman and Nicobar Islands. If you want to visit historical places then go to Delhi or Agra. If you want different experience then you must visit north eastern states of India.

Hey guys! you caught my attention with your amazing vlogs from the very first about Sri Lanka. I watched almost every video you guys made about SL. Saw you going through ups and downs but kept to myself thinking that they all are part of SL experience. However, I'm so sorry to see what you've had to go through during your final hours in SL. I feel really bad and ashamed to be a Sri Lankan. You should've hired a cab from a reputed company as the others have commented. At least It's good to see that it wasn't for nothing since you got to meet vegabrothers at the airport.
Anyways India is much organized than SL in terms of tourism. So no need to be scared. Each state has its own tourism development board and I think they're regularized under the central government. You can reserve the sightseeing tours and accommodation beforehand over the phone. Would suggest buying Lonely Planet India book for more references or look for flyers at train stations. Train (Rajadhani Express, etc.) would be the most economical way of getting around between states especially considering your luggage. And there won't be undue delays like in SL. Look for 'circular journey' option for greater discounts (bit of a hassle though). All the best to you both!!! Cheers!!!!

Though I do not appreciate violation of traffic and safety laws and your encouragement of it (random stopping on the highway and putting that back on the roof).

Thanks for your comment and watching :). We saved and gave up on life back in the UK. We have a budget and are starting to work with hotels etc. Our dream is to get paid to travel making these videos. It's really hard work though we are exhausted most of the time. We will do some videos on it soon.

Guys, I was feeling so awful to see you guys cramming in that tiny Hatchback with so many luggage's and two other strangers too. It must have been so annoying and nervous to swap the bag from roof rack and back in and out. BTW how much did it cost for you two from Ahangama to Airport.?
Also, The internet in Sri Lanka is the fasted in the south Asian region. I guess, the slowness was due the low band with the hotel itself ma have had.
Hey, with regard to what you saw at the Airport's Stores that sell, various household goods upon arrival area, the reason is this. Many Sri Lankan's work in countries like the Arab Middle eastern region, the Cyprus, Isreal, and Singapore. Most of them work as domestic helpers, maids, nurses, at various construction sites as well as drivers etc. Traditionally, they used to buy Goods from those countries from their savings and come to Sri Lanka upon their end of service. They enjoyed a certain amount of Duty free goods once you stay overseas for a certain number of months. So these stores that sell white goods are the ones targeting such returning workers and they are entitled to buy duty free if they did not ship goods from overseas. This is one of the unique systems we have here.
