I just looked for all the RV Resorts in the St. Augustine area. I found two. There was a least 4-5 campgrounds close to Downtown. Looks like they where turned into Housings tracts, which is terrible. If you go back, there are two Resturants you need to go. One is a British Fish & Chips. The other had Wild Pork and other Wild Meats. Great video. Thank you for sharing.
Yep, these guys have a gold mine here. Especially for large rigs. And they know they can charge the big bucks. The Stagecoach Campground near by was too small for us. Thanks for the restaurant tips.
We were at Favor Dykes state park last week and went downtown Friday and the fort Saturday. Too bad we didnt see both of you. We went to a seafood restaurant FL cracker downtown too, it was good.
Wow that was expensive , nice place though , luckily the local area helps because without that this place wouldnt be worth half the cost . I have seen you visit better places for cheaper but at least you had zero issues with space . It would be nice sometime to see some footage from your spider rides , maybe mount a go pro to one if you could be bothered to edit the extra footage 😊. Its always a bonus for me as I'm in England but getting to see the land and views in America is always appreciated . You guys have some stunning scenery and so diverse and everyone loves a great view right ? . Take care both of you and see you in the next one
Hi Marten. I have recorded a few trips, but when we go out west this summer, the scenery will be worth it and I'll get a lot more. While we were in Florida, we didn't wear our helmets because they are not the law there. I have a mount for my camera on the top of my helmet but FL doesn't have much to offer for riders. So, I'll be getting more footage in the future. Here are my two favorites: ruclips.net/video/_l_XIa2CKMA/видео.html and ruclips.net/video/aL8MMCn1wfU/видео.html
@@WattsOnWheels awesome , thanks for the links , I will enjoy watching them , I didnt know that about helmet law in florida , I'm guessing they like to eat the bugs out there maybe 😊
Actually while this campground has been completely updated, it was a campground for years in St Augustine located next to a fun flea market. The original campground was quite run down and had mostly full time residents. With the massive influx of new people to Florida the whole area is under massive development The old campground had spotty electric. We stayed there in 2018 while waiting for our house to close. I wouldn’t have gone back so I guess it’s great the new owners have significantly upgraded. Prices are too steep tho.
Here in Georgia it is growing like crazy too. While there, we noticed a LOT of buildings and subdivisions going in. Glad you got closed on your house before the prices blew up. Nice area!
Thanks so much Florida girl. I find other people's campground videos helpful, so we are hoping others find ours helpful. I hope so, because they take forever to put together. 😁
Hi guys..👋. We have been to Saint Augustine many times and love it..❤. That resort looks to be a very nice place unfortunately..🤑... A lot of good places to eat there.💯... We can see you guys had a great time... Thanks for the video... Stay safe...J&A 🙋♀️🙋♂️
RV Resorts like St Augustine sounds like a pricy alternative. What makes you chose a certain campground? Price or location? How often do you boon dock?
First we look and see if there are any Thousand Trails campgrounds near by our route since we are members. Then we look for US Army Corp sites because they are very nice and big and usually on the water and very affordable. Then we look at Passport America and/or Good Sam discounted campgrounds. We don't boondock as much as we'd like unless we can find a spot near our route. We have stayed in restaurant parking lots, Walmarts and Casinos, not to mention beaches and the desert. But once in a while, we choose to bust open the wallet and spend the bucks.
We stay at Walmarts a lot and all over the country. However, they don't allow you to stay for more than one night. This was the only place near St. Augustine that we could fit in. I doubt we will every stay there again. We don't like that treeless feel.
Way over priced. The amenities are not that impressive for the price. We drove through there in March of 2022 to check it out and were not impressed. You can stay a whole month at Stagecoach for what it cost there, whick we do. Love you videos and especially love your setup. Safe travels.

Great campground review! Karen your narration is some of the very best!
Thanks so much Rick. I appreciate that.
Hi guys , stayed there in Nov 23 . Was a good stay . Nice people . And so much to do in the area .
The people (staff and other RVers were all very nice). Definitely a place that people should put on their bucket list.
Great job guys. We're gonna go to that rv resort just for the food you found in town. Always enjoy your vids. Travel safe. Chow.
Hope you have a great time. Thanks for watching.
Very nice! Extremely nice!
Slightly $$$$
Yep, not a place we will return to unless there is no place else available and if so, it will be for a short stay.

Fun areas with lots to see. Gotta love the seafood!
We will be going there tomorrow, thanks for your recommendation.
You are so welcome. Have fun.

Hi y'all. St. Augustine is a definite place that people should put on their to do list. Take Care.
We have never been to St. Augustine (drove through it only). We will add it to our "to see" list for next year! Safe travels!
It's worth the trip. The history is very interesting.
OMG, $ 850 for the week! OMG, cannot become a traveling snowbird at those prices!
No kidding. That won't happen again.

Charleston South Carolina right now KOA leaving out tomorrow
We were just in Charleston a few weeks ago. Cool area there too.
I know you aren't there now but, a good place to eat is Red Frog McToad.
We'll be near there again next year. Thanks for the tip.
Hello guys from Ben Wheeler Texas 👍🙏🏼🙏🏼
Hey Ronnie. Hope you're doing OK in TX.
Hi guys, are there any videos of you guys unloading the smart car andalso? can ams?
Yes, quite a few. Here's two of them. ruclips.net/video/Vzdgp92HIdE/видео.html and ruclips.net/video/mn3SiFhoyzw/видео.html
@@WattsOnWheels Thanks 😊
Looks like a nice park, but a bit pricey.
Definitely pricey.
Are you still there
We coming to Augustine tomorrow
No, we are already back at the houseboat for another month before we take off for the northwest.
Are you going to the SOITC rally rally
Nice resort BUT too pricey for my taste.
I hear that. As I mentioned in the video, we will probably not go back because of the price.
Hello
Hi Stephen. Thanks for watching.
Your welcome my friend
😢 to bad so expensive.
Yeah, but people will pay it.
@@WattsOnWheels I'm sure they will.
We won't. Once is enough.
IWOULD NEVER STAY HERE REGARDLESS OF THE PRICE. WHY NOT JUST STAY IN A WALMART PARKING LOT OR A TREELESS MOBILE HOME PARK?
We stay at Walmarts a lot and all over the country. However, they don't allow you to stay for more than one night. This was the only place near St. Augustine that we could fit in. I doubt we will every stay there again. We don't like that treeless feel.

We agree it is over priced, but Stagecoach didn't have anything big enough for us. Would have rather stayed there. Thanks for watching.
Can you wash your truck or rv there?
I don't know. I looked through their rules on their website and they have everything on there but that. Guess you'd have to call and ask.
@@WattsOnWheels thanks, ✌
