- I noticed my gameplay video was really stuttery, so I cut together just the cutscenes. Of course, this time there are a bunch of audio glitches (though they don't appear on my copy of the file, only on RUclips...). The ending, featuring our girl's cameo, starts at 8:12.

Loveless is mummified
And Ms Rose was redeemed after her water became purified
Well greatly done fellows!! Who'd guess Carmen Sandiego was chased by ACME in
this game?!
This feels more like it would've been part one of another game, but apparently this is just how it ends.
The secret villain is revealed to be a crossover villain who just, disappears, and we get no resolution. I have a feeling they planned for more, but ended up stopping here.
I think a lot of us would've loved a true ClueFinders Vs Carmen Sandiego game.
Well isn't that just like Carmen to just do that and vanish though?
Carmen is a mistress of disguise, she can even disguise her voice in this game. She also said that she kept her eye on her pursuers. She must’ve known enough about the Cluefinders & their foes.
3:04-3:05 A classic reference to 'The Cluefinders': 'Third Grade Adventures'
Carmen San Diego's motives are always difficult to comprehend.
i know this is 2 years late i felt like she did it cause she did it cause she wanted to test the cluefinders she knows about their villains defeats
@@kelsey1467 this might be where she got the idea to go back to wearing her classic red and gold outfit and set up the Math Detective plot (even though that game came out far earlier still under the original Brøderbund label we're never told when each game takes place although we do know that Chief Tamera Fraser aka Lynne Thigpen's animated form formerly known as Velma Acme in some CYOA books is always DA Chief from World 1996- Forward, but can appear holographically and with short blonde hair like Squidward from time to time.)
If anything I think there is a chronological timing of how those games go...after she tests the Cluefinders.
@@Superlad9494 but where's Carmen San Diego
@@reubenguttenberg7405 that's a good question. She just left after Santiago made the deduction.
Fletcher Limburger: Shouldn't his challenge be more jungle themed? Or flying since he's a pilot?
Alastor Loveless: This kinda works since he works in a museum, but needs more Egyptian ascetic. Not to mention a slight explanation as to how he got demumifide.
Heracles Leer: What game was he from? Never heard of him before.
Miss Rose: She wasn't really a villein. Just a desperate monarch who wants to provide a better future for her children. Pollution was the culprit. At least the challenge looks fitting.
Pericles Lear was from: The Incredible Toy store Adventure.
Cluefinders: Saw Edition.
What even? After years and years I find this as the end
after watching the video there is a small hint that it's Carmen behind this if you look at 5:13, 6:15, and 7:09 you can see a portrait of a person wearing the same style hat in the same style as Carmen right next to the door
Nice eye catching that.😊
2:34 I'll take my chances with the pinball machine
Omg I used to love these games
This is definitely a crossover
Shared universe. Owen, Leslie, Joanie and Santiago probably work for A.C.M.E. now.
9:15 CARMEN SANDIEGO?!
What a coincidence!
What's her endgame? capturing clue finders, secretly handing their villains to them on silver platter, wanting new challenge after being thwarted by ACME infinite times, I wonder what & why cause Cluefinders never did anything to her
What it know, that was surprise ending with Cameo.
@@disneyinuyamon Well, Carmen Sandiego isn't truly a villain. She's just an international thief who views everything as a game. She must've heard about the ClueFinders and their reputation as child sleuths who aren't part of any detective agency and did research on how they foiled the plan of these villains and how they saved the day. Thus, she rallied their enemies together and had them put the ClueFinders through these challenges just to see if the ClueFinders were the real deal.
@@kidprime6863 I think she's wanting to get a new job as "A.C.M.E's Sr. Agent in charge of training new recruits" since Agent Lee retired years ago and there's a fan theory (and a good fanfic on the archive about it) that when she's in charge at V.I.L.E. it's more of "an A.C.M.E. experiment" that the U.N. is in on.
OK, I get that Carmen Sandiego is an international master theif and all but how did the clue finders know her? There wasn't any crossovers in any of the games that I know aside from this game.
I think it may just be her reputation.
They're owned by the same company.
@@aaronfield7899 I mean in story lore.
From what can I remember from the Carmen Sandiego games. Carmen doesn't tend to keep her identity as a thief a secret. And her reputation/infamy is even known to both the public and regular authorities.
What is usually not known to the public is her past.
@@Canibar13 at the very least they are aware of her being a renegade detective because her reputation as A.C.M.E.'s Batwoman would surely be well known...then again there might be very few outside of Chase, Chief Fraser, Suhara, and Jules who remember that...because Zack and Ivy had to learn that about their adoptive mom.
5:53 Wario laugh
That's Charles Martinet for ya
@@knil456The man who played Mario.
So the secret villain might have just been Carmen Sandiego, I wish they had a new game
8:12
The ending, that detective woman looks really familiar.
Carmen San Diego
Villains that didn't participate
Aliens from the living island disguised spaceship Cluefinders 5th Grade Adventures-(Returned back to their home planet hungry)
Art Forgers Jacques and Mimi Ramone from the now reopened Amusement Park ClueFinders Search and Solve Adventures-(Still Serving a very very long sentence)
☠️The Apprentice from the Himalayan Plateaus ClueFinders Math Adventures-(Eaten by the real Yeti, bones and blood found next to the cave)
☠️Malicia from Planet Millennia-(Her own magic backfired and was sucked into the Amulet of life which was now buried with Socrates's Bone, by Owen Lam's use of Laptrap's reflective shell used as a mirror in the opening)
*☠️ Died in their game
F in the chat for the latter two.
I think they actually planned for more games that continued the story here. Maybe they would've had those villains in if they did.
I think the villains from Search and Solve would have made more sense to have in this instead of Miss Rose because she wasn’t really a villain or evil at heart.
Even the Apprentice would have been a better choice then Miss Rose. But I guess they went with here because she was (probably) one of the more memorable antagonists. Even though narratively, that doesn't make much sense. And just ruins the ending of 6th Grade a little.
Okay, that right there. That was messed up.
Great Game.
My mother disapproved of this version as it wasn’t informative, but that didn’t stop me from playing it.
good for you i have to be honest i don't own this one but by looking at it its kind of my least favorite
