Small Tip: if you play close to your smoke, you can pick it up instead of turning it of and then instantly place it back, so you dont have to wait 8 seconds to activate it again
8:52 after a lot of testing by myself, objects are not the thing that stop the viper wall, actually is the range of it, the higher you throw it, the larger the range, the lower you throw it, the shorter the range, after knowing this you can start experimenting heights to throw specific walls on every map
@@michaelmitchel3471 it has it's downsides, if you throw it high (as far as possible) it's going to deploy slowly, if you throw it low (relatively short) it's going to deploy very fast Edit: Also sometimes, you might want to use only a little bit of the wall to make it tricky to see at first or to make an specific setup you have for something
Bro this video helped me alot understand how to play viper better, I've been playing her for awhile now and up till now I was a little bit confused how to use some of her abilities, thanks for the in depth explanation for her playstyle and tips.
@@twilight1325 it's like a manually-triggered land mines, the only catch here is of course u have to know if the enemy is close to the viper's smoke to blind/poison them perfectly in the smoke.
A chokepoint is an area that players MUST pass through to advance. The special thing about a chokepoint is the importance of holding that area of space.
I can relate. I'm an Omen main who's been running KAY/O and Sova on Breeze for a long time, but I have the most impact on playing smokes, so I'm trying to learn Viper.
The title should be changed to "A guide of ONLY viper basics" This is just beginning of how to use vipers kit. There so much more one should learn if they're playing viper
I am new to Val but I gotta say the auto cue thing (got cued 2 times accidentally and it took a mere second both times how fast do they expect me to be?... Wtf riot) is as annoying as the stunlock u get when u get hit NO need to mention the times I hit a head and it doesn't count

Why not just throw it as far as possible
