I actually kinda liked this one as a more standard post-series V-Cinema. After Saber's weird (but unique) arthouse horror film, and Zero-One's needlessly depressing trainwrecks where everyone freaking dies. I appreciated having a sort of return to normalcy with this one. And yeah, it really is more of a Demons movie than it is a Live & Evil movie. Also, I found the monster suits in this movie to be really goofy and lame. Like, they don't feel like boss monsters. They feel like putty patrolers from Power Rangers on a slightly higher budget. And the fact they look cross-eyed in every freaking shot doesn't help.
So it's basically Jingle: Live/Evil: Good Demons: Bad Suits: Live/Evil: Bad Demons: Good I don't know about you guys, but I'm cool with Live/Evil Marvelous's suit. I like how it's Revice's energy surging into their suits.
I think the suits are just meh/ok, weird seeing such colors on these designs, they make sense but they dont hit enough I can understand why people both like and hate it, im neutral, Imperor Demons however, amazing
Man I really wanted another Kamen Rider Revice Forward but this time I want the next installment to be focus on Juuga or Aguilera/Orteca/Over Demons but this anniversary movies screwed this
For someone who hate revice second half, I really like this movie. It simple, doesn't delve into any complicated stuff, just have really fun fight scene, awesome music and the acting is really solid. The best part of this movie is when daiji henshin using revice driver, kagerou came out and just spinning for 4-5 second, I lost my shit when I saw that
I thought it was pretty okay. So...do you also not plan on doing the Jeanne and Aguilera featuring some Neo Heisei and Reiwa Female Riders and characters mini series?
i loved this movie. It was just such a blast to watch. I love Daichi and Hiromi so seeing more of them is a blast. Come On Live is also so a good insert theme. Its just such a nice movie that i would rewatch. Its not the most interesting movie but as a post show movie, its fun.
In my opinion, Live/Evil and Demons movie is much better than Battle Familia The only things I don't like in the movie are this: - No new jingle for Demons - Repainted suits of Live and Evil Marvelous - Daiji using Revice Driver took the similarly from Fuwa using Zero-One Driver in Vulcan & Valkyrie movie
As stated, Daiji was supposed to be the original user of Revice Driver and Marvelous form can be seen as an act of serendipity. Fuwa using Zero-One Driver felt like fanservice (but not in a bad way).
I honestly assumed when I was watching this Movie that I missed some sort of prequal. Like when did Hana and Tamaki set up a detective agency, I thought they were with Blue Bird? Where tf did Super-Powers come from? Why does George just have a new Vistamp for Live/Evil out of no where, that probably wouldn't work as intended in their normal driver. I really wanted to like this, because I personally love Hiromi and the LIve/Evil dynamic but I feel mixed about this. I also had a thought on how new forms should have been accessed. Instead of the Twinside Driver being destroyed, I would have just had it separated from Daiji, like it was stolen, maybe the weapon part was taken by Clone Hiromi, just something that still warrants them using the Revice Driver. Then I'd have Imperial Demons be used with the Twinside for Hiromi. That way the form can have an unique sound, and if they made the stamp like Barid Rex he could also still do the Genomix. Idk why he wouldn't just use the Demon's driver, but maybe one of the Overdemon's users are clinging to it.
I choose to believe Hana and Tamaki are still part of Blue Bird but the detective agency is a subdivision George made in a closet because they were getting on his nerves.
If Marvelous Live and Evil accomplish anything, it's that its footage could be used for a potential Revice adaptation. Hear me out: the adaptation reaches the introduction of Kagero's counterpart, establishing a motive of wanting to take the Revice Driver from Ikki's counterpart and give it to Daiji's counterpart. At which point we'd get an image spot of what that would look like using the Marvelous Live and Evil footage.
While I wish the movie could've been handled better I wanted to see more from Hiromi, Daiji and Kagero so I still found it enjoyable enough. I wish Live and Evil revice version suits had better colors and designs cause conceptually I love the idea of Ikki passing on the Revice driver to Daiji and Kagero since it feels like him getting a chance to use it properly compared to how he failed to use it at the start of the series.
this film wasn't all that needed, but is a nice extra. it has nice general ideas, but it's the "not smart people trying to write smart people going against other smart people" (notice, I don't believe anyone on the writing team is 'not smart', but they really did not get deep enough in the planning phase). an extra film that reverts a serie position to have a retired unique rider back in action, but aside from that, it's nothing really all that important
As I preluded in your Battle Familia review, I really didn’t like this movie. I don’t have everything sorted out, so I’ll just make it as brief as I could. Throughout the movie, I was dealing with a combination of confusion over what the hell is happening in that world and tedium over waiting for a predictable plot twist. It was no mystery for me that the Blue Bird doctor was the true mastermind or how Kagero was going to backstab twice in a row since the more the movie tried hiding and “subverting” the truth, the more obvious it was. This movie has these new concepts like human cloning and supernatural healing powers that aren’t well tied back to the original themes of the show and make it feel like I’m not watching a Revice movie. The main characters aren’t ruined so to say, but they honestly feel very stale and regressed, repeating the same arc they’ve already been through again, like how Hiromi has to decilpine himself to not irrationally throw away his life on the line or how Daiji, has almost nothing. In general, a lot of this v cinema felt very uninspired, character conflicts and all, which led to a monotonous watch even with the admittedly cool action.
I will say though, I did really like the ending song, “Love yourself”. Also, I finally got around to watching Movie Battle Royale. I had my fair share of problems but I enjoyed it. Defiantly enjoyed it more than the v cinema.

Well kagero is technically also a igarashi so it's make sakura his sister too and that's how maybe he meant to call kagero hana's brother in law Although I am not a shipper of hanasaku I prefer their relationship more as rival to best friend it's sounds more healthy and sakura called hana her sister in girl remix

Honestly the juuga special is pretty good although that might be because of my by towards George.
I watched this movie with my grandma and despite the fact that she knows nothing about this franchise she enjoyed it.

This movie had my favorite Kagero moment with him switching sides temporarily to teach Daichi a lesson
