From the very first note, this song and performance are utter perfection. I'd never heard of this song or the singer, but wow, this is amazing. The arrangement and orchestra conjer a swirling, swooning magic like few things I've experienced in music. It's emotional in a way that music once was. Perfection.

how is she not more widely known? yes I've only recently discovered her and that it in itself is travesty.... she deserves to be more known given her vocal discipline .... and her respect to the classics.... she gives her own version to these songs and yet it becomes her own when she performs these songs.... this song along with her version of "stronger than before" is my favourite by far.... a velvet voice that soothes any moment of heartache.... or at the very least a moment you could relate to.

I indeed would love to hear and see her in concert. To date have not found such a gifted voice in the category of Bacharach Reproductions Close to Streisand but no cigar
