Then I searched on google “Did Taboo really have cancer?” And it said “He was diagnosed with stage 2 testicular cancer in June 2014 and went through 12 weeks of intense, aggressive chemotherapy out of the public eye. Taboo says he was diagnosed after going to the emergency room for what he thought was the flu. He is now cancer-free.”

Nelkon Nsamba they changed their style to more of a pop vibe when Fergie joined but now that she’s gone they’re back to making that real hip hop and rap that got them famous in the first place

I think some assume that they sold out or went commercial during the Fergie phase to sell more records and make more money. But I think they were aware of where the collective was mentally at the time. They "dumbed it down" in a way yes, singing about my humps and whatever but they were massively popular around the world . Now they have way more fans who can digest the message. Without that dip into pop and dance music they wouldn't have the reach they have now.
