- The Seven Wells of Serendah was constructed as a flood mitigation project acting as part of a storm water management system. Serendah, in the Malay language, means low lying was frequently subjected to flooding due to large volumes of water from the surrounding hills being channelled here. The dam basically consists of seven vertical concrete wells rooted into the river. When the water level rises, it then flows into these wells and are channelled across to the other side through seven outlets.
