honestly related so much to this video, My mental health & social anxiety haven’t been the best recently and seeing loads of RUclipsrs/social media people who appear to be living their best life really can make me feel isolated ? It may sound weird but RUclipsrs like you make me feel less alone and even though we don’t actually know each other we are like friends (just realised how sad that made me seem, I do have real friends I promise.) I don’t usually comment a lot on videos but I just wanted you to know how much I appreciate you & your videos. I watch your videos since a few years now and really like the way your content has changend over time. I started watching your videos because of your Harry Potter content, that I still love. But I also really enjoy the non-Harry Potter content you make. Most of the time I can relate to the things you talk about and I feel like we sometimes have pretty simulare opinions on certain topics. (I am really into Zero Waste, and Sustainable Living at the Moment as well!) I am definitly more aware about the problamatic with fast Fashion now. I’ve been watching your videos for years and it’s so nice to see your channel grow and mature - I love the mixture of content now, it’s nice to see HP content too and your fashion videos have really helped me to try and wear clothes that I don’t really wear etc anymore. There's a difference between a negative comment and someone being horrible. So I can understand how it would affect you. As someone who was badly bullied to the point I wanted to end my life it hasn't made me stronger and thicker skinned! I just made me avoid people thus avoiding bullying! I love your channel even though I'm in my mid 30s I enjoy all your content. Especially the HP stuff (huge potter fan myself) but I am interested in watching all your videos and seeing the stuff your passionate about and the fact that you struggle just shows your like the rest of us. Hope your week gets better mentally :)
I'm the same with sad things. I have a list of 'Banned' things like songs, films and books that i think could make me feel anything, from overly happy to really sad.
I hope you manage to do what you want and start to feel better sooner than later. I've never understood those people who say: "Oh, you've posted this one video I don't like. It's not what I signed up for, I'm unsubscribing." Or: "You have't posted in a while, I'm unsubscribing." Subscriptions don't take up space, it won't cost you anything. If someone doesn't upload, being subscribed to them won't bother you. I feel a lot of people feel entitled, like the creator owes them the videos they wish to see. "When I subscribed years ago you used to make these types of videos and now you don't anymore. I don't want to watch you anymore." Well, people change, they evolve. The only times I have unsubscribed to people is when I've gone months to a year with seeing their videos in my subscription feed and not feeling the urge to watch them. If I feel I lost the connection that made me subscribe in the first place, then I might unsubscribe. But most of the time, not even then. I usually get back to their videos after a while and enjoy them again. Very long and possibly unnecessary comment, but I just wanted to share my feelings. Also, I have major hair envy whenever I watch your videos. It just looks so amazing and healthy!
I love your videos, especially this type 🌻🌻 you're awesome, don't listen to the haters. And I know that sounds really easy, and I know it's not, but seriously. You really are awesome.
The thing is, is people are going to unsub the same as you would with someone thats changing direction a bit that you arent resonating with. Its not a reflection on you or your content just where they are at in their lives and what they are looking for. Change is good and you are building a platform that covers more of your passions and values than just one topic, ultimately creating a bigger audience and more importantly educating people :)
Laura I hope you read this. You are not the first you tuber I follow who started out doing HP focus and then decided to open it up to more or change it. While I can see how it wld be a bummer to lose subscribers please know that following your gut to do the videos you want takes courage and helps you flex those muscles! I share the challenge of wanting to people please and am sensitive to negative comments. I applaud you for following your guidance, speaking your truth and doing what makes you feel good - because that's really all that this life is about.

Ppl act like yt'ers are puppets for their sole enjoyment like it's strange the entitlement like have fun with this make videos you enjoy filming and working on.
