Ma'am really explained this the idea involved in this topic. Here's the summary :
The idea of Pakistan was conceived based on the notion of religion as a common thread, but it lacked a strong foundation due to linguistic and ethnic differences. Pakistan's nationalism primarily relies on hatred for India rather than genuine unity. Language plays a crucial role in cultural identity, surpassing even religion. Identities are shaped by understanding what one is and what one is not. India's survival as a diverse nation is attributed to its correct founding ideas, while Pakistan's foundation was politically motivated and flawed. The challenge of governing India's diversity has contributed to its unique survival.
    Highlights
💡 Pakistan's formation stemmed from the concept of religious unity, disregarding linguistic and ethnic differences.
💡 Nationalism in Pakistan is more rooted in hostility towards India than a genuine love for the nation.
💡 Language holds greater importance in cultural identity than religion, as it is more pervasive in daily life.
💡 Identity formation involves defining oneself and distinguishing from others, influencing perceptions.
💡 India's survival is credited to its appropriate founding ideas, in contrast to Pakistan's flawed and opportunistic foundation.
💡 India's ability to manage diversity has contributed to its continued existence against earlier predictions.
💡 The vast diversity and size of India posed a unique challenge for governance, setting it apart from other nations.

Haha, we Indians don't understand the idea of Pakistan because we treat Muslims as gullible people who cannot think about themselves.
Liberal education in India has made our brains stupid tbh, to understand even real facts.

Pakistan may be a failed state but Pakistan as an idea is still kicking strong.
Look at the riots in India, terrorism in Kashmir, Muslim radicalization all over India - Pakistan as an idea is hatred for Hindus and by extension India. This is still very strong among the entire converted lot of Indian subcontinent.
That's Muslim mindset all over the world. When Muslims took over Persia, they started persecuting their own Zoroastrian co-nationals and Parsis had to flee from there.
Similarly, Arab Muslims hate their Pre-Muhammad past.
It's only in India, where the original religion of the land survived. Hatred towards Hindus and anything non-Islamic is the basis of Pakistan which is still very strong among Muslims.
