That's amazing. I think this guy will be one of the first things I build, gonna raid what's left of my Blood Angels vehicle bits, maybe add some chain, etc. Can't wait for your Lemartes video. I've kind of got a bit of a different idea planned for my Astorath.
Amazing job on this one Andy, those extra parts are definitely the making of it as a dc dread….. almost feels like GW should have made these bits as an upgrade sprue 🤦♂. Certainly looking forward to seeing those dc marines in a later video as well.

How youve added the extra pieces here make the model look so so good. Ive found the additional pieces and ordered the model based on your video. My question is, do you have to replace pieces that come with the box or are these pieces just fit on top?? Thanks so much for help 1:59
@@Darr3nL3wis hey pal. Glad your liking the videos. And yes some parts are indeed replacements to the current pieces. So I’d wait till ili have both in hand and then build it slowly making sure will get it rite. Its so much much when its all built.

Maybe new heads too depending on what you think, I'd be interested to know. Also I really like how you do the black it has more things going on with it than a flat black ever would and the model looks better for it.

@MediocreHobbies did the chaos black primer, leadbelcher spray layer after, then went to apply contrast and it just looks streaky/pooly? If that makes sense 😂. I mean I'm a newbie so could be doing contrast wrong 🤷

This is honestly what I wished the death company redemptor to look like, but it seems the redemptor will be reused and remain unchanged just as the rest of the primaris range :(.
I am close to, i say close lol, to finishing painting my first ever mini, the invader atv, the gatekeepers are not going to like this one, but, i realy could not give two hoots.just the edge highlights on the marines and nuln oiling. just waiting for my tech preist and then once we have moved, do a base diorama. love your vids, they help me avoid silly mistakes. i suppose it helps me being colour blind so i could not realy care if it came out sky blue pink with green spots lmao. thankyou.
Did you really just virtue signal for games workshop recommending only bits to be printed with 3d printers? Fellas... print the entire models, gw charges way, way too much money for their products.

You can also virtue signal for corrupt corporations if you'd like but that would be cuck like behavior. It's about putting models on the table and having a good time, not making vangaurd and blackrock more money and influence.
How about letting people enjoy the hobby the way they want to instead of insulting people? If you don't want to support GW, there's ton of other great games out there. No-one is forcing you play Warhammer.

Reminder if you model your own 3d printed bits and you can prove that you modeled them, they are 100 tournament legal.

I Spray black and leadbelcher the same, but contrast still Pools alot of the time.
I followed this to the letter! Straightaway my contrast black templar does not look like this at all! Gonna have to try another paint scheme.
