I used some two days ago to open a door that my wife accidentally locked at her mom’s house. Also, there’s a certain cookbook which used to be accessible online which mentions the steel ‘bristles’ from street cleaners as a good source of strip material for picks. They can be found lying on the road/curb after the street cleaner passes and usually are too heavy to be swept away in rain.
