This is what we need the OG hitman missions remade with the newer mechanics 🙏🏼 I remember playing contracts being scared ass hell especially in traditions of the trade
Ah yeah, the ghost in that dark fucking hall made me jump when I was a kid. Shortly after I thought it was my imagination since it was pretty dark in there. I remember going in in one of the bathrooms and became scared shitless when I took a look in the mirror. I uninstalled the game right on the spot, but regretted it a day later since I was half way in the game and because the game was still fucking good at the time.

Right, I'd like the return of the japanese chain missions in Silent Assassin.
They could remake the whole old trilogy, it had more mission than WOA but the map is smaller

They took Diana voiceover and the soundtrack from Hitman Contracts so seamlessly. Very Impressive mod. This is how I wish original Codename 47 was remastered some day.
The original voice for Diana just brings back flash backs we need a remake of silent assassin and contracts. great video dude inspiring

This is one of my favorite missions back in Contracts when I was a kid. To see it brought back at HD is amazing.

A mod? I thought it was official stuff from the developers. Didn't think the mod-author ported the sound-files from a different Hitman-game. It's very well done.

A dream would come true if IO remakes its first 4-5 games using Hitman 3 engine and graphics

For me it's Codename 47 rather than Contracts because I played the former first. Both games are so well done.

Damn that's an amazing remake. Makes me want to play those Hong Hong missions again, from both games. Also, the way you played it was great as well.
The atmosphere in these Hong Kong levels is incredible. I could just hang out here doing quests for hours if it was an rpg
The way how Hitman games always shows the luxurious and brivht side of every country but at China they represent it all darkish full of homeless people is just explicit racism
@@gs-nq6mw That's a pretty superficial and narrow-minded perspective. Those "luxurious" levels are meant to be satirical. I haven't played the hitman games much but from what I see of the videos on youtube, the missions in the "luxurious" areas your targets are mostly "high-class" people but they're mostly corrupt scumbags in one way or another. The game is satirizing luxury and class, not promoting it. On some level It's saying that "civilization" and "progress" are just a facade, that those people are no better than anyone else, because they're all crooked.
@@gs-nq6mw Lol no. Colombia is represented by a sad village under the control of a drug cartel. I wouldn't call that bright and luxurious. Plus, Chongqing is the only time in the series when you are outside in a big city, where there would obviously be a lot of homeless people.

This mod is actually set in China, but the original mission in the first Hitman game was set in Hong Kong.
I like the idea of this more than the Escalation version that the base game has.
First in Codename 47, Then Contracts and now in WOA. The Community is impressive.
Best game franchise for 20 plus years. And the music by Jesper Kyd will always be tops
The Seafood Massacre is classic one of the best missions ever in the Hitman series.
I remember downloading the very 1st Hitman demon online in 2000. For those that know. The demo had a glitch and when you hit CAP LOCKS, it would do "bullet time" like The Matix. It's wasn't a feature at all on the series until around Hitman Contracts.
Hearing Diana's original voice makes it sound like Diana sounded younger and matured later on like fine wine. Beaut!
There were 3 games I had in my Xbox back in the day Scarface, Halo 2 platinum edition and Hitman Contracts. I played the living shit outta this game as a kid
Love the good old "Streets of Hongkong" Track from Jesper Kyd. Hitman 2 Silent Assassin was the best Hitman game ever created in my opinion.

This is one of my favorite hitman missions, one of my favorite Jesper kyd songs, if not my favorite, and just so much nostalgia. You went crazy! Great job
Looks trash. Guard didn’t search the briefcase, wtf? And they die immediately after ingesting the poison? Couldn’t they talk a bit and establish more narrative? Why does the ai look and behave like the Sims?
This is sweet nostalgia. My first experience with Hitman was this mission on PC demo in 2001. Of course it wasn't this elaborate but I played it over and over again because of the freedom and various ways the mission could be completed.

One thing I would to see IO is to remake codename 47 but add in a few tiwst.
With Hong Kong levels, instead of four separate level, it all in one map like Hitman trilogy. Your main target is in his fortress right from the start. You can storm the fort if you like either dare sleathly or gun blazing. Or you can do some side objective like the Legacy route of following the original game story path to start a gang war to weaken your targets protection, or find evidence which will get Hong Kong police to raid the fort. Or arrange party to be host by the target, let 47 to enter the fort by invention, or lulled the target out from his fort to walk out in open city after the gang rival has been dismissed to perform an "unfortunate accident."
Like how Battlefield 4 map change from it evolution effect, hitman games could do something similar, doing certain action to overall achieve that perfect opportunity for silent assassin, or just do "stealth with everyone dead."
Even the infamous coulmba levels change to be more like 2018 where you can rally up the tribe to attack the mob boss, who flee right into escape ( death trap) vehicles 47 fix.

@@bealone88 They usually don't, as people tend to not understand T. Chinese there. Of course there will always be exceptions.
@@borisglevrk T. Chinese is really not that hard to understand, 预约 vs 預約 basically looks the same, they are not two different languages. Shop owners love using T. chinese for decorations and menus to make their shops look more retro.

There are differences from vocabulary to grammar, from choice of words to taboos, to the point where one can easily tell a s. Chinese user from a t.

in the original mission wasn't one of the two negotiators supposed to escape. i remember taking out wither Red or blue out and dumping [ very difficult ] his body in the gutter and then killing the police chief in the resturant, leaving the amulet but the 2nd negotiator who came to the restaurant had to survive so he / his faction could take the blame.
No in the original you take the disguise of the red dragon negotiator dump the body head insude the resturant place amulet kill police cheif and because your dreesed as the red dragon nagotiator they will think that lee hong set up the hit
This brings back so many memories. One of the hardest hitman missions when it came out

I wish they kept this as a requirement for the silent assassin rating! You wouldn’t get silent assassin in Hitman Blood Money if you left any of your weapons behind or if you didn’t have your original suit on when exiting.

Absolutely awesome. And I love the return of old school Diana's voice too. The modding community once again injects much needed magic back into the series. And by that, I also mean Jesper Kyd's incredible and timeless music 😄😊🥰
Too bad the gameplays no where near as good as the old ones, especially Contracts. Shame that IO-Interactive don't just remake those older games really...

I am not really one for remakes but the older hitman missions being brought into the new engine would be perfect.
Just hits, no story, just like hitman contracts remaking codename 47 missions.
Curtains Down from Blood Money would be a great remake to have in the new engine.
Have you ever though about doing a run where you can't put your pistol away? I think there was a Sapienza escalation mission with that condition.
