This is literally my favorite part of Metallica. Of course I love everything about their songs and when they go crazy, but honestly my favorite part in their songs are the clean parts.

I agree so much it’s those clean rifts that tie all of it together for me. It changes the way the song feels and adds emotion to it. I love the interlude of master of puppets and the harmonie solo. Because it goes from an aggressive song to something more calming and relaxing and then back to agressive if you know what the song is about it even fits that theme. Overall that entire group is very talented and amazing songwriters
Agreed, feel something special about Orion, first time I've heard it it i literally cried, can't explain it, and call of Cthulhu is a beautiful piece as well
Low Man's Lyric, Until It Sleeps, Mama Said, there's tons more to choose from. Load and ReLoad get hate, but they have a lot of great clean/ballady-type parts.

Once again.......poetry in steel motion. The true essence of music. I love classical style sounding guitar. Its the only style I haven't mastered yet. Mainly cause I grew up playing with a pick since I was young and my brain is hardwired that way. You need to play with your fingers to be able to play multiple parts at the same time. I've noticed you do that quite well......so much as to play 3 at once. I commend you on that. I bet you could tackle the eagles as well and we all know how many guitar parts they have in their tunes. Anywhere from 3 to as many as 10. Mad props though bro.......watching your classical acoustic versions of these renditions is really a great stress reliever for me. I get urked with all the ads chopping up your softer takes on the greats though which would be my only criticism but I won't hold it against you at all brother. Go get that money cause you deserve some👏👏👏👏👏👏👌

I love this the most about any metal song but especially metalica. Don't get me wrong i still love the heavy and thrash part of their music, but this is my favorite style of music .

I have been watching the 8 Song & 6 song Metallica medley for a couple years now, & some nights is all I need is those 22 minutes (combined 2 vids) & I’m asleep because it’s so relaxing & soothes my very soul. You’re so very talented Chuck! I’m a big fan of your music & am very thankful for this longer video. I was away from online activity for a while & just found this video now. So I know what I’m listening to tonight to relax my mind ☺️. I’m just 21 minutes in & loving every note. I'm a guitarist myself but on somewhat the polar opposite from your position. I love Metallica and their songs more than anything else and I play both acoustic and electric guitar and every time I play one of their songs, I can't not play it a second time and then another time after that... I love your interpretation on the classical guitar and I will definitely listen to this on a daily basis after finding out about it! Great music once again, so thanks for sharing it with us! :)

@@CharlesAlexanderAllred yea, but how do you know where to find the notes on the guitar... do you use your knowledge of music or do you just know instinctively where to find the right notes?
I listened and played notes until I figured out which ones were right. Over time the process for sharper and sharper. It’s kind of lesson material, I’d be happy to teach you. I am a guitar teacher.
