Hey brother, the larger plastic panel can be removed by pushing down and away from you. So this would be pushing it lightly towards the windshield and sliding it down. Use both hands on either side and it'll just pop off. It does take a little bit of pressure and held in place by a couple tabs.
@@Auto-Minute Thank you! I'll give it another try. It wasn't coming off even with a lot of pressure, i know the plastic is kind of cheap so didn't want to break any clips hahah

For some reason I followed your guide and cannot get this to power at all!, I get no power at all
Hey there! Were you not able to find the connector port? ...or did you find the port but are unable to power up your dashcam?
