Somehow we ended up with these 4 legends in one group… i remember hearing bts didn’t have any good vocalists before i even listened to their music … and like bitch where?!!?!! this song seriously hit so hard to ARMY's heart. As celebrities they have to be so careful of what they show, talk, act, look because everything can be on the media & attract haters. So they have to put on the "masks", "hide in the shadows" and sometimes being glorified so much that when they compare to their real selves could be "ugly" "the truth untold". But at the same time, they so want their real selves out in front of ARMY whom they love and knowing that we love them. the lyrics just speak out their struggles in their mind.
Truth Untold is one of my most favourite BTS songs. It's the only time you'll ever see ARMY quiet during concert. So vulnerable, full of desperation and regret. It's a masterpiece.

THANK YOU; I feel like no one should react to stage mixes, I mean they are great to watch once you've already seen some performances but not for a first-time reaction. This was pretty good IMO but in a lot of other stage mixes they use the studio version of the song rather than the live vocals to make the editing easier, so then what's the point even :/
This song is actually based on a story. There was a man who lived in a big castle but kept to himself since he thought he wasn't beautiful. One day he found out that a woman came near his home and picked his flowers, he was angry at first but became curious of the woman and fell in love with her, but didn't say anything since he thought he was ugly ("can't show you me, give you me") He planted very rare flowers so she could sell them for a bigger price, but one day she stopped coming by and the man found out that she had passed away. He regretted everything and wished he confessed to her ("if I stood up in front of you, would everything change now?") And the line, "i still want you" means that he wants her back. If he loved himself then would be able to confess to the one he loves? As BTS once said... "True love first begins with loving myself"
the story behind this song is about a man who believed he was ugly, and stayed in his castle all the time. when he needed to go outside, he'd cover his face with a mask because he was too ashamed. he owns a garden infront of his castle that grows a unique blue flower. one day, he saw a beautiful woman stealing the flowers from his garden. he was enraged, so he put his mask on and followed her to see what she would do with it. it turned out that she was poor and was selling the flower to make a living. the man felt bad, so he planted lots of these flowers in his garden. the woman would come to his garden everyday to take the flowers, and he eventually fell in love with her, but he was too ashamed of his face to confess his love to her so he just watched her from afar. one day the woman stopped visiting his garden. the man became confused, so he put his mask on, and left his garden to find her. he discovered that she had passed away. the man was heartbroken, and was so angry at himself that he didn't confess his love for her before it was too late

I'm not even going to talk about their movies, documentary series, their "Bon voyage" and "Run" series. And they still find the time to mostly write or sometimes co-write their own songs, co-produce or produce them and learn all those choreos. No artist in the whole word work as hard as they do or has. broke as many records. Thank you for taking the time to know them and be open minded.
