- Still in shock to be writing this but my incredible boy secured us a 30 double clear at Badminton Grassroots to gain us 7th place!!
He was insane the whole week and made me a very very proud mummy.
Obviously if you followed us for awhile you will know there has been a lot of self doubt and lack of confidence over the years so this “performance” and result meant a lot 🥰

Oh gosh am I really a full grown adult crying over a vlog!? Yes, yes I am 🙈 that was by far the best showjumping round I've seen from you. And the XC, Banksy was in his absolute element. What a huge achievement; be very proud of yourself!! The love and support between you and your friends too... aah its just something really special to watch. I really hope one day I get to experience this side of owning horses again. Huge well done. Xx

Honestly the love you all have for your group makes me emotional to watch because I know how much it means in the horse world. There's so many good people but it can also get so toxic sometimes too. Seeing literally Meg's coaches help you and vice versa, hearing different trainers helping you walk the course and warm up, it is SUCH a team and it's so lovely to watch. Congratulations on all your hard work and result! Top 10 of over 100 riders is EPIC! Proud of you and don't even know you.
I have never commented on a video before, but Tina, you did an AMAZING job! I started crying during the show jumping and cried through most of the video. Your cross country was so great. Watching all your friends helping you get ready was so special. You are very lucky, and even more deserving! SO happy for you! You are such a sweet, kind person and you worked so hard for this. It takes a village… and what a village you & Banksy have weaved together. Alex Bragg has blended everything you’ve learned from Cam, Simon, Lucinda, and all the other instructors you’ve had over the years into the excellent combination you & Banks were at Badminton. Em, Susie, Han, Meg, Rob, and all the rest supporting you came through, and it showed.
I’ve watched you for more than a few years, the transformation in your riding, confidence and how amazing the main man is is incredible. So well deserved, you rode brilliantly. Xx

I’m just so thrilled for you Tina you absolutely smashed it, and even though I knew where you came last week, I still shed a tear of joy for you as you crossed the Xc line. Being coached by Alex was made even more special when he finished 3rd in the 5* event, and so sweet you stayed on to support him. Now to prepare for next years grassroots! Xx
Yep it definitely made the week even more special, he’s such lovely man and had taken such good care of Banksy when I have been away etc I’m so glad we could support him too and cheer him on for his epic result!! It really was the best week ~ loved it xx

OMG that warm up for the show jumping was giving me anxiety and I was drinking whisky at the time!! You stayed so business-like and focused, you earned the luck you had with that last fence. All that hard work, all the mental work, you earned every inch of your placing. So well done!! I've been watching Emily's vlogs before I discovered her friend's had channels too! I'm an AA who just started riding lessons three months ago. I got very emotional watching this video as I dream of competing in XC one day. I'm still learning about the equestrian world and found that Badminton is a HUGE deal!! I literally rewinded so many parts of this video and pretty much cried the entire time. I'm someone whose dreamed of riding horses since I was 12, and I turn 21 in August. Your love for this sport and Banksy can be felt THROUGH this video. I just want to say, I haven't been watching you for long but this video gave me so much hope and another person to look up to. Continue being brave, you have such a strong support system! Much love from Florida💚
