Our People, Our Services - Regional Hub for Women’s Health at Nenagh Hospital

A regional hub for women's health recently opened at Nenagh Hospital. The hub revolves around three core services: an ambulatory gynaecology unit; a specialist menopause clinic and a subfertility service which is due to open later this year. These services are being established as one-stop, “see-and-treat” gynaecology clinics in which women can be assessed and treated following a GP referral. In this video, Dr Naro Imcha, Clinical Lead for Obstetrics & Gynaecology, UL Hospitals Group describes the role of her team, a typical day, and the best part of their job.
This new model of care will improve access to diagnostics and treatment, resulting in fewer hospital visits and reducing overall wait times for women.
