Assistant director Seung-joo heads to Kazakhstan for a wedding documentary, but misses the wedding when the local director is injured in a traffic accident. To salvage the project, the crew decides to stage a fake wedding where Seung-joo is forced to play the role of the groom, Dauren.

입봉을 꿈꾸며 다큐멘터리를 찍기 위해 카자흐스탄에 도착한 조연출 ‘승주’.
하지만 현지의 고려인 감독 ‘유라’가 교통사고를 당하고 예정된 결혼식을 놓치게 되며 다큐멘터리 촬영에 문제가 생긴다.
연출을 해서라도 다큐를 완성해 오라는 압박에, 가짜 신랑, 신부를 구해서 결혼식을 찍게 되고 ‘승주’는 신랑 ‘다우렌’이 되는데...!
