They _were_ indeed a terrific band! But weird and unwarranted criticism from young kids sunk them. Same thing happened to that group Nickelback. It was considered "uncool" to say you liked them.
50 or 60 years now after these 60's "forgotten groups" were around, I've seen several of them perform in the past decade together in the "Happy Together tour".... namely, the Cowsills, the Turtles, the Vogues, and Gary Puckett.
In the Grand Funk portion they mix pics of the current line-up (of the 2000's) with pics of the famous line-up (of the 1970's). You're going to confuse people who don't know anything about Grand Funk.

Some on this list are highly questionable, relating to title of this vid... the stooges?? Wtf. One of the most influential, greatest band ever. Many others on this list, just don’t go with the title.
Yeah. The Shags! Absolutely ABSURD B.S.! After watching this vid, I looked up your last entry, " The Shags". You said it was bad, but that was the understatement of the last 10 years. It was _numbingly_ bad. No human being should EVER hear it. And *NO*, it's _not_ cool to say you like it because that would be pretentious admission of insecure narcissism. You know- just to sound like you have the "vision" to hear something of value whereby no one else can. An absolutely absurd group and, as usual, they were the most unfortunate victims of a drunken, abusive and criminally insane father.
There was a window when you could get the rights to little bit of soul , and my friend and I looked into it . However later the song was sold to Korean car company and was made with incredible commercial
Please stop with the flickering effect on videos like this one. It doesn't fool anyone into thinking still photos are anything but what they are. We're not stupid. It's just irritating. 🙄 The video earns a 👎 from me because of it.
Saw Grand Funk in Chicago in the early "70's and Mark Farner said - yeah tonight we're making a live album from the Auditorium in Chicago. Never happened. What a bunch of ass holes.

Who comes out with these list. Several of these bands had multiple top 40 hits and were major bands in their time. Stupid
😂
This AI voice sounds angry and snotty.
