The architecture and the overall aesthetic of the city is phenomenal. A shame it all gets so "uncanny-valleyed" by the shitty animations and pathfinding algorithms for the cars and NPCs
@agentcooki It was a typo. I said path-tracing, but I was thinking about pathfinding algorithms, which is what is used to determine the paths the NPCs take when moving from one point to another. But now that you brought illumination up, checking the game again, the lights on the cars and NPCs are also weird looking. The material used makes them look a little bit like plastic
I've just started a new save with max settings, Overdrive, ray reconstruction on, and it's fooking butter smooth! I constantly stop to take in the sights. It's insane how much work has gone into this city
Yeah, after comparing this with other videos, I can clearly see there's no indication of sharp or well defined reflections, also the denoise flickering from the previous patch is still there
Personally I would prefer escape from tarkov gameplay in cyberpunk, that shit would be unbelievably immersive and feel way better when you kill people. Whoever decided to make it a bullet sponge rpg system gotta be high as a motherfucker. Theres a reason I ran the anti material sniper rifle throughout most of the game.
Can't wait for gta 6 for proper next gen AI. This game is just an nvidia sponsored game all that path tracing bullshit and light still looks weird most of the time and let's not talk performance with path tracing because there isn't any and only 1% of pc gamers will see it.
All these games have zero atmosphere, the great graphics just makes it all the clearer that this "City" has zero life in it. Look at these animations!! Terrible. What a wasted opportunity for CDPR! Starfield seems to have done the same thing and made a similar game.
The ambience is great but it's just ruined by the fact that the NPCs all have the same shuffling, lifeless gait.
Honestly what do you expect. Night City is probably the most depressing place ever.
You would have the same lifeless gait if you lived in Night City bro
LMAO all these comments are True.!!!!
Bros seek satisfaction from w/ in
Can’t have everything buddy

Yea the other cars still have issues but they got the cops to chase you pretty well though
Shitty path tracing? Ok

The game is beautiful. There isn;t a better looking game on the market@@Kimera92 and regarding path tracing, it's seems absolutely fine to me
We need wind and flying papers etc
so Watch Dogs E3 style?

Did you enable ray reconstruction? I still see a lot of indirect shadow ghosting. I looks great though.

even tho my budget only allows for me to play the game at 1080p without rtx, its still one of the most beautiful games i have ever played.
indeed it is sir
I wish the movement and camera angles were more like the newer Call of Duty games. It would've been next level.

Yeah they had two hard choices I think, unfortunately bullet sponges isn't much fun or interactive in shooters, reminds me of destiny

I'm going to assume you never actually played Cyberpunk, never played Starfield, or never played either to say that.
I think both have really good atmosphere......hmmm some things do stick out but no game is perfect
I see no difference AT ALL
that's either you not having a good monitor... or your eyes just suck
@@h4dvision970uh oh found the dickrider
yea 2010 called they want their graphics & AI back
educate yourself lol@@defense200x
somewhat but hard to notice, It is not a huge jump because the game was already nice to look at
The cars velocity is also unnatural still
true.
Awful looking game, reminds me of the old bladerunner game on PC
Ok ps4 guy
Looks even worse than older versions of the game. The devs managed to go backwards. Older GTA games still impress me more than this.
gtfo noob, you don't even understand the process. kid.
Glad this video showed up in my tab so that I could read probably one of the worst takes I've seen in awhile, thank you!
Sir are you currently experiencing cyberpsychosis?
You mad? Go back to your Street Fighter and Resident Evil basement. You ain't welcome here
Do you suffer from mild to severe brain damage?
