i am so happy that eastern europe from poland to bosnia to turkey and armenia are taking part in eurovision, they bring so much quality into this event. this is top class, one of my favorite esc entries of all times, thanx armenia.
Honestly? My absolute favourite from Semi-Final 1. It just makes me grin from ear to ear listening to it. The key change is in the perfect traditional 'Eurovision'-y place too. Well done Armenia!
It was the most beautifully sung and authentic song of last night. There is no need to be narrow-minded, and prejudiced. Just listen to the song and watch the performance! It is beautiful indeed... This song was my second favorite after Norway. Congratulations from Turkey-Germany, and thank you Armenia!
My real comment is a sophisticated art, combined with genuine tradition combining grace, beauty, art craft, just like enjoying a glass of good old wine in front of a Picasso masterpiece.
U welcome :) That was the firs song I've heard of the eurovision 09... Jan is really a sweet word... I Really loved the meaning of our Israely song.. it's heavy and light at the same time well have a good day:)
This is the mix of few culture's sounds of Armenian, Assirian, Turkish and Kovkasian and sense is the kind of NEW DANCE for all nations and cultures. Great performance and nice job
the first time I heard this song I don't liked it, but now I love it ^^ I can't stop listen to it and don't get this song out of my head it's a very good song, I like the rhythm and the melody =)
This was Perfect Eurovision song with Marvellous Voices !.. Armenia is always wonderful at Musics.. I also liked the Armenian traditional clothes it's beautiful and unique !.. Thanks Armenia for this, It's Fantastic.. Love it !..
the BBC IS famous, impartial,i am in fond of this performance, because it combines all aesthetic components of art, voices, movements, colors , beautiful human expressions, correlated with more than 3000 ys old culture;what do we ask more; if CARUSO,DALLI, PICASSO, where alive?!
Dear keghamminas, Thank you kindly for your support, and I agree with you too about Armenia's rich and marvellous Cultural identity and Heritage.. I always THANK Armenia for it's Great Cultural, Musical and Artistic Contributions to our World Civilizations, Cultures and Arts... Lets all of us enjoy and cherish this Fantastic Eurovision song from Armenia with lovely voices, and share this Music with our worldwide Music fans.. and friends... Cheers !!..
besides the costumes, the performers do some amazing dynamic singing, and if you listen closely to that Middle 8 section - the passage before the "sister - here we go" bit, they really have something special, good singers who are young enough to take chances. If all countries tried to appeal across language, culture and generation gaps and boundaries, nothing would be creative in the competition. This proves it's better to take risks. Kudos to Armenia, Moldova, and Bosnia Brillant!
I'm from Norway, and this song was one of my favorites in the Eurovision. But you're wrong about the Norwegian song, the rythm is not Irish but traditional Norwgian, fiddlemusic. So it's nice to see songs that use their cultural heritage, like this, go far in the ESC.
A very interesting song... my favorite song this year... i love its rhythm and this mix of very traditional instruments and very modern sound ... very good made... maybe if they´d performed as in the video they could have come even more up to the top...
Im irish- i thought Armenia and Turkey were the best, they both deserved to win. Armenia had a great original song and great perfromance- really enjoyed it. Thank you Armenia !
For a limited person whose musical backgownd is surrounded by Biber and Rihanna it may be anything but not music! Actually it is folclore just very specific for some brains!
i like this song so much! i am kurdish and i love the sound of the "zurne" part (don't know the armenian expression for this instrument^^) armenia would have deserved to be no 1. maybe next year
THIS is the kind of music Eurovision should be about. Most ESC entries are all soft rock and club songs now. I can't tell you what Russia sang this year, or Denmark, or Azerbaijan, or Croatia, or Georgia; it all sounds like a soundtrack to some teen movie. Armenia was my favorite in 2009 and 2010. This year they took a step back because it just wasn't traditional. If they stay with traditional elements they will always get points - there are no other entries like Armenia in Eurovision.
Wow they really do like the Iraqi Armenian people, It's impressive. I dedicate this song to my dear friend Nora, she is Iraqi Armenian. Cheers and Peace
By the way, Armenia's song is really cool. I'm sure Armenian people in Iraq will love it. I cantacted all my Iraqi-Armenian friends who live in Europe so they would vote to this song. Good luck.
This is the song that stayed in my mind from the 1st semi final and just had to find it

armenia is land of music and culture i'm iranian and we all love them , they must proud of themselves
Honestly? My absolute favourite from Semi-Final 1. It just makes me grin from ear to ear listening to it. The key change is in the perfect traditional 'Eurovision'-y place too. Well done Armenia!
I love them. they look like sorceresses. They're really dark and enchanting. - love romania
Wow... this song is incredible... very beautiful but with soul, the costumes and the dance... great!!!!
