The cover on the magnet stops you getting smapped onto your wifes car by mistake and scratching it while dry fireing in the garage. I really should get one.

One doubt, for ipsc production, do you have to adjust your setup further back to use the magnet in table start? If you put a mag in the magnet, ahead of the hip bone, even for table start, wouldn't that be a no go?

as long as the magnet itself is behind the hip bone and no magazine attached at the beep, all is good
