Hi Guys , hope you are well and all is good . Interesting shop at Home Bargains. I never new that this company had this food in stock . The prices for each meal was good considering the price of food and especially buying curry ready meals . But like you both said, that some items were good and enjoyable to the palette and the others no so good and not recommended to buy . Good honest advice which is always respected from you both . Farm Foods do a line similar, and may be you could try some and do a comparison between both companies . Now that would be interesting to see . Which one is the best for value and tast . Winter is uopon us and snow is forcast up north in scotland .l, so may be you could buy some hot and hearty cartons of different types of soup with breads and do a tast test for the vewrs on those products . Ok Tracy and Colin Many thanks , you are an asset to youtub . 😊👍👌💯%
Hi Christos, thank you for your kind words - we appreciate your support ❤️ Thank you also for your recommendations , we have tried a couple of the farmfoods ones, and some where ok 👍🏻 I’ve been making different homemade soups that are cheap and easy , We have fig here in Liverpool , also very chilly 🥶, take care ,stay warm ❤️❤️
for a quick cheap curry you can’t go wrong really for the price along with the extras especially if budgets are tight with the cost of living going up I will look out for these next time I’m in home bargains Keep up your good work and your channel😊
Home Bargains with the emphasis on BARGAIN ! For that money we didn't expect much but overall we were pleasantly surprised. Like you said Colin, for a quick meal it's not too bad. We heard on the news that there was a break in a Coriander farm near you (LOL) - that explains it Tracy. We'll have to check Home Bargains out on our next UK trip (2026)
Hi Tracy and Colin. Would never have thought of Home Bargains a try for Indian food. After your recommendation however, I will definitely buy the bargees and pekoras . Xx 😊
I must say presentation was like restaurant quality 😊 I gave Justin the tikka masala but with no rice only naan and his plate was swimming in sauce 😂but they are worth a try and for the price could feed a family quite well ❤ we love the pakoras but will definitely try the bhajis ❤xx
@TracyandColinTheFoodies I had a look today in the big one in town couldn't find them.. thanks I think I'm doing ok but it gets harder to lose weight when you get older
Oh that’s a pity … I’m sure you’re doing ok ❤️ we have both lost around 7lbs each since we got back from Florida .. by watching for carbohydrates (of which sugars)
A lot of food for that . Sainsburys do a good Bityani , I prefer their cheaper variant rather than their more gourmet version . Oh and I never thought of serving charcoal briquettes with a curry , must give it a try , sort of deconstructed BBQ ?
@TracyandColinTheFoodies I always do that, the branded stuff is usually horrible. Dolmio at £2.75 is loaded with sugar, the 75p tomato sauce is nicer (you have to get HomePride or Pattacks if you can - they're nice). I'm gonna get one at xmas from Sainsburys & make a curry
I like how you came back later... "Never mind, it was naff" LOL
Thanks Marilynn ….we felt a bit bad about it 😢❤️ haha it was naff 😂😂😂
@@TracyandColinTheFoodies Naff is one of my new favorite words 😆
😂😂😂
It’s nice that you are so honest and not recommending people to waste their money on them x
Thanks Val ❤️❤️

Hi Kath, yes stay away from the curries 🤔 the onion bhaji’s and pakoras are delicious ❤️❤️
I must say presentation was like restaurant quality 😊 I gave Justin the tikka masala but with no rice only naan and his plate was swimming in sauce 😂but they are worth a try and for the price could feed a family quite well ❤ we love the pakoras but will definitely try the bhajis ❤xx
Arr thanks Sarah 😂
Yes more sauce & coriander… & not a lot of chicken 🐔
The pakoras and bhajis are fab - just don’t burn them like I did 😂😂
😂😂❤ xxx
Do they have a vegan or vegetarian curry in that range? I've started fasting to lose weight so I only eat once a day now
Oh I’m not sure Gary sorry - good luck with your weight loss ❤️🙏🏻❤️

Haha … I love your attempt at humour Alan 🤔😂😂😂😂
@ yes I was on fire , oh no that was your bhajis . Joke
🤣🤣🤣
Those didn't look very nice guys, apart from the bhajis ... I'd have used the £1.80 to buy a jar of the sauce instead from Patacks
Well we didn’t know they were naff till we tried them Helen 🤔
