Cobus has a talent that he can listen to a song, create a very good arrangement of the song on the drumset, and can produce very high quality and stellar drum covers. This doesn't mean that Braden isn't a good drummer. Everyone takes different amounts of time to develop skills. Braden could be a great drummer, and could just be very humble about his playing. You don't know how good he is.
this guy is a master. there is no imperfection with any of his covers and there is always a very unique creativity he brings to the covers. Hats off to you my friend :)

I started drumming because of my brother's influence in watching Cobus back in the day. Coming back to him nowadays feels so refreshing and makes me want to come back to drumming again.
Me and my friend learned his rendition of almost easy and played it at our talent show in high school trading off different parts. Core memory of mine, it went so damn good. His whole series a core listen to us as lil snot nosed kids. He’s immaculate.
THIS is why I prefer Rock/Nu Metal over thrash metal. The musical value is soooo much better, rather than just speed. This guy is fucking amazing, inspiring even.

Shompenify1 this song is nothing more then a "basic" song to play. there isnt anything at all complex about this and how he plays. any player with average skills could probably play and freestyle this song. that being said i like both cobus and coop equally.
None, they have different styles, and based on the videos, we can't make a fair judge. Cooper does almost daily videos, so he doesn't have a chance to prepare a super elaborate cover, on the other hand Cobus does one series a year aprox. he has a lot of time to prepare his covers. But in my opinion, they're both amazing, and enjoy seeing all of them
If you took care of Cobus, you'd know that cobus started recording videos without a huge quality and he was awesome, he has always done everything by himself and he evoluted step by step. So don't say he's here now thanks to his money, he's only here now thanks to his amazing talent. And btw, Luke Holland is a monster, technically yes, but he has no feeling, no personnality, whereas cobus, more than his skills, seems to have the time of his life everytime he's drumming, and that makes the diff !
