when I first heard ROSCOE I honestly thought, "well, they can't top that--it's an anthem. One day a treasured hymn" but then this...I am conflicted. I'll have to simply love it all.
Amazing & Epic track, no mention of them being Turkish on Wiki, how come they have so many Turkish fans, not that theer's anything wrong with that. You guys obviously have great taste in music.
@burleighrapids no doubt. if midlake was the worse band ever i would still love their lyrics, but them being an incredible band just brings everything together

Here are some 1970's songs that this reminds me of: Caravan "I Don't Know Its Name"', Donovan "There Is An Ocean", Strawbs "Witchwood", Wishbone Ash "Leaf and Stream". Have a nice day.
Midlake is criminally under rated.
This is just one of the most beautiful songs of recent times, along with "Acts of Man" or "Roscoe". Midlake are just great!
