@@abrahamruiz267 yes, PED’s is only one of the modules covered in J3U. It goes over all aspects of training (fatigue, volume, programming, etc.), all aspects of nutrition/diet, contest prep, how to monitor health, & more. There’s a ton of information within J3U other than just the PED aspect.
@@Landonmcmahonlifting I’ve listened to this podcast 3 times already haha there’s some great info in there , the time stamps make the video more capable of referencing
I agree with how things change as a bodybuilder when it comes to squats. I have a good skill base and so many variations of squats. However I am very, very tall and have longer legs than torso. So it’s just not an advantageous lift to build my legs. I have found that leg curls, leg extensions, hack squat, Bulgarian split squats, lunges have been immensely better for my leg growth because I get both the intensity as well as getting under more weight. I think you really need to look at specificity of training especially with bodybuilding.
Yea there have been bodybuilders who have built phenomenal legs, using machines, and literally never squatting under a bar lol, the theme you use to hear from some ppl was that say leg press for example woudnt build your legs up when in reailty if your doing it correctly, it most def. Will build them up,same goes for other exercises as well, I also built pretty good legs but not pro level bc I was natty never squatting, or if I did squat it would be front or side shell for ex
could you make an episode with someone talking about gear from more of a beginners standpoint. To understand this episode you would have to know a lot about the subjest already so an episode more for beginners in this area wouold be apriciated.
Seb I mean this with all due respect & I am only 20 min in but so far this podcast seems like 3 dudes that know a lot circle jerkin how much they know and agreeing w each other. Again, all due respect. I think they could be improved if you took audience questions or thought of questions & topics your intermediate/noob level bodybuilder / PED fanbase would ask.
Well, there goes another 2 1/2 hours.. Love John, learnt so much from J3U
Ik this is a stupid question but do you think j3u would be worth it for a natural lifter ?

Great guest. Always nice when someone is able to apply nuance. Much more helpful than the absolutist claims by some in the industry.
Quality of information allows for so much new knowledge learnt.
The podcasts have been amazing, keep it up!
I swear these 2 hour podcast really fly by.

Makes more sense I have very short torso and longer legs than what is proportionally normal I would say lol.
Oh and also leg press has been phenomenal!

Good talk! very informative
Right around the 51 minute mark, you basically recited Milo Sarcev and his hyperemia model.
Time stamps ????
When you said 10-12 sets and 15-20 sets (if it’s a weak point) all to failure did you mean per week or training fay
