BTS has a habit of turning award shows into their own concerts. The 2019 MMA performance was 37 minutes long. Their concerts are usually two and a half hours long. They're actually having online concerts next month, on the 13th and 14th.

Believe it or not, as great as the Butter choreo is, it's not necessarily their hardest. And wait til you hear a vocalist/rapper harmony.
Bts has their own genre because they do it all - try this to look at their range - mic drop, on, black swan, dynamite, blood sweat and tears, fake love etc
So true some of songs you are shocked it’s from same band , so different . FYI they only have 2 full English songs ( Butter and Dynamite) . All other songs mostly in Korean mixed a little English . You will love the production value of their videos . Many have behind the scenes . They are one of the few that have videos and dance that tells the story of the song . Spring day song , Video and explanation of video is a must . It’s their vocals , raps , lyrics , story telling , dance . Each member have their solo also and they are all amazing . Daechita must must watch video ! It’s such a visceral experience
And after you’ve watched these songs and performances, there’s the live versions and the dance practice videos too. Not to overwhelm you, but let me just warn you that bts are like the avengers- each member has their solo performances which show off their individual talents. That’s even more range- here are some not all... rm persona, Jin epiphany, suga daechwita , jhope ego or chicken noodle soup, jimin serendipity, lie or filter, v singularity or stigma and jk euphoria or my time. They as a group also have Japanese songs :)
In the beginning JK was wearing the Jean jacket from their Dynamite video and playing Dynamite muffled in the background and then he transitioned to his Butter outfit. It’s like they were signaling the end of their Dynamite era and the beginning of Butter. 💜

Just check out BTS performing at award shows back in their home & be blown away such as MMA 2019, MMA 2019.. "Everything is so well put together" - very true for everything BTS.
BTS charm is hugely inspired by MJ Taj Jackson (MJ's nephew) praised Jimin for amazing tribute to MJ in the Dynamite MV, he said his moves reminds him of Michael Jackson. he also pointed some similarities between Jimin & MJ which are both perfectionist & strict with themselves. He also supported Butter! on Jimin's bday MJ's official account tweeted Jimin's & Jungkook's "Black Or White" dance :)

In a reaction by a professional dancer, he was saying do jumping jacks for 2 minutes and then try to sing! And keep doing jumping jacks. Add to that-sing in a language not your own!!! Their concerts last for three hours with them dancing most of that time. I have read that they practice singing on a treadmill. They are SO talented!!!!

I was to say it because it's unfair for JK that people who don't know BTS very well and hear them for the first time, think that vocal run is another member. They're all doing a great job vocally and dancing anyway 💜🙏

You just have to watch everthing about them !!! Their songs from the start are amazing and the lyrics will make u cry like Lost, Paradise etc. They are once in a life time phenomenon.
I really recommend that you listen to their "less famous" songs, for example Best of Me, Dimple (vocal line only), Cypher 1,2,3,4 (Rap line only). There should be live performances available!

BTS performed this live from Korea, they could not travel due to corona. MMA 2019 and MMA 2020 are both exeptionally good. These awardshows will blow your mind away, the american awardshows are peanuts compared to these. BTS sings always live because they are bad at lipsync, no matter how hard the choreography is... Hope you gonna watch these shows and will be mesmerized just as we did.
Actually they filmed this in Korea. They can't go out of Korea since there still a pandemic going on, the whole set is what BTS themselves remake in Korea just for this specific performance

They have some amazing lower key performances that focus more on the vocals if that interests you. MTV unplugged and Tiny Desk Concert are a couple I’d recommend 👍🏽
The harmony in 3:16 was doing by V (the one with curly brown hair) has a really deep voice; and Jimin (the blondie) who does the most hight notes in their songs
The dancing for this mv is like a stroll in the park for these boys ....their dancing is amazing and its been commented by people that they could actually be a dance crew. Also would like to mention the fandom name "ARMY" we are extremely diverse and the largest majority (roughly 80%) are over the age of 20. We have a saying that you dont find BTS they find you when u need them most as they are such an inspiration with their music and their attitudes. Also they are some of the funniest, most humble , adorable guys on the planet. BTW im a 67yr old ARMY from Australia and there are many of us over 40s out here also roughly 25% of the fandom are males.

They have worked their ass off to be where they are for the past 8yrs since their debut in 2013. Many people only.see the fruit of their fame and success, but they dedicated their entire life to be where they are and they sacrificed their personal life to be a part of BTS. Their perfectness is the result of 12 hrs practice every day.
Hey some recommendations: If you want to react to other songs of BTS, you can try with Life goes on, Black Swan, On, Louder than Bombs (all of these songs are sung in Korean and a little of English) or Film Out or Your eyes tell (these are sung in Japanese). Nice reaction 🙂

They are really talented, hard working, always true to themselves, humble & most down to earth... BTS Debuted in 2013 as a HIP-HOP group & later extended their Discography to different genres which showcases their Versatility as a group/artists...
You will enjoy the tones of live performances that they have, very interesting and different!! If you'd like to watch another bomb live vocals, give Crystal Snow a watch. My mind was blown away when Jin did the TRIPLE HIGH NOTES on their LIVE concert.
I saw them live in Chicago and they are phenomenal! If you ever see one of the documentaries about BTS, you will realize they give it their all with every performance. Sometimes, they pass out from exhaustion. They don’t have an opening act. It’s just them singing and dancing for 2.5 hours. I suggest watching their award show performances with an audience in the U.S. (Fake Love in 2018 AMA, Boy in Love in the 2019 BBMA) or in Korea (MAMA or Melon Music Award either 2018-2019). Plus, if you see the Korean music awards show, ours pale in comparison.

Their vocals are so stable and they put such energy into all of their performances. Loved your reaction and I hope you react to more bts (and their live performances) in the future. I personally would recommend the "bts tiny desk performance" as it really showcases their vocals and how much fun they have as a group performing
They are performing in Souel, Korea. They build their sets to look like the award shows. I think it’s pretty amazing. You need to watch the Grammy performance because again they were in Korea and it looked just like the stage at the grammy’s. That set was pretty intricate and I was amazed at how well it was done!
every BTS performance there is always something new, for example, during the DYNAMITE era they performed the song more than 50 times but each performance was always different and the stage was also very good and totality
If you are interested in elaborate music arrangements I would suggest Save Me, Ddaeng, and The Truth Untold. They also give you a good understanding of exactly how broad their genres are
In case you didn't notice, their performance set changes takes them from the backstage area to the red carpet to the actual stage... Which I find really clever.
You are on point in catching their talents in live-singing while moving around and dancing.. It's not easy, and even though many groups from South Korea incorporate dancing in their performances, those who can pull the live-singing are so rare; even barely there actually (I never say there's none). BTS commits to do it every single time they perform despite of difficulties. That's why you'll see their past performances had flaws, like short of breath, not in pitch, voice cracking, etc. But that's the beauty of live-singing, especially IF you're surrounded by the normalcy of lip-syncing (and do it with hardcore dancing). It takes a hell of talents to pull those things through, and people turned blind eye on them when they could do the rare things in that kind of environment (and excuse the others who did lip-syncing. Crazy)!! Enough said about "others" (never have the intention to bring others down, just CRITICIZE the community).. This BBMAs' Butter performance is definitely one of the best, the perfect performance on the record!! They are obviously getting better and better...

Also cool thing with BTS is that they're always involved in the concepts and planning of their performances. Everything they do actually, is under what they want to do as a team and then the company will follow suit with the direction they want to take. From themes of album, music, oncepts, fashion, performances, etc.
They are AMAZING Live performers. I've seen them 3 times live in concert and they are possibly better live! This production is common for kpop groups in Korea. Part of what makes kpop kpop is the visual aspect. Suga describes kpop as an amalgamation of visuals, vocals, dancing, fashion and production to create a full musical experience.
Well Awards show? mma 2019, mama 2019, mma 2020 and mama 2020... Even before it.. They make an award show become their mini concert live performing a few their song and it did LIT!!! What a performance and stamina with vocal
Their 1st English single "Dynamite" (2020 - mid pandemic) had +30 different sets & there was always a different element in styling/ choreo 🔥 They were great pre- pandemic, no matter what language they're singing in, people are just catching up when they've upped their game. I suggest watching mvs & lyric vids (correct translations on "Doolset" site) before going further into award shows. It'll spoil you 😅
You should watching their singing live on MAMA2018 until 2020. Watching all the MV, fake love, black swan, mic drop. Every single songs was different genre, because BTS has their own genre. They are really good at singing live. Why? They are trained for 3 years before debut, doing practice dance for more than 10 hours a day (now is less because they were busy). How they can sing and dance at the same time? They were trained singing while treadmill. Dont be shy to be in this fandom...🤭 im happy to choose and stan for this amazing guys. The good things is.. they love their fans so much. Everything they got, they never forget to mentioning us ARMY !

I was to say it because it's unfair for JK that people who don't know BTS very well and hear them for the first time, think that vocal run is another member. They're all doing a great job vocally and dancing anyway 💜🙏

BTS performed this live from Korea, they could not travel due to corona. MMA 2019 and MMA 2020 are both exeptionally good. These awardshows will blow your mind away, the american awardshows are peanuts compared to these. BTS sings always live because they are bad at lipsync, no matter how hard the choreography is... Hope you gonna watch these shows and will be mesmerized just as we did.
Actually they filmed this in Korea. They can't go out of Korea since there still a pandemic going on, the whole set is what BTS themselves remake in Korea just for this specific performance

They have some amazing lower key performances that focus more on the vocals if that interests you. MTV unplugged and Tiny Desk Concert are a couple I’d recommend 👍🏽

The dancing for this mv is like a stroll in the park for these boys ....their dancing is amazing and its been commented by people that they could actually be a dance crew. Also would like to mention the fandom name "ARMY" we are extremely diverse and the largest majority (roughly 80%) are over the age of 20. We have a saying that you dont find BTS they find you when u need them most as they are such an inspiration with their music and their attitudes. Also they are some of the funniest, most humble , adorable guys on the planet. BTW im a 67yr old ARMY from Australia and there are many of us over 40s out here also roughly 25% of the fandom are males.
I love how they always go harder with each thing they do. The growth with these guys is always on full display.💜

They began formation in 2010 and debuted in 2013 and they been working hard all those years. They are the best
They have worked their ass off to be where they are for the past 8yrs since their debut in 2013. Many people only.see the fruit of their fame and success, but they dedicated their entire life to be where they are and they sacrificed their personal life to be a part of BTS. Their perfectness is the result of 12 hrs practice every day.
Hey some recommendations: If you want to react to other songs of BTS, you can try with Life goes on, Black Swan, On, Louder than Bombs (all of these songs are sung in Korean and a little of English) or Film Out or Your eyes tell (these are sung in Japanese).

I saw them live in Chicago and they are phenomenal! If you ever see one of the documentaries about BTS, you will realize they give it their all with every performance. Sometimes, they pass out from exhaustion. They don’t have an opening act. It’s just them singing and dancing for 2.5 hours. I suggest watching their award show performances with an audience in the U.S. (Fake Love in 2018 AMA, Boy in Love in the 2019 BBMA) or in Korea (MAMA or Melon Music Award either 2018-2019). Plus, if you see the Korean music awards show, ours pale in comparison.
Please watch their small desk concert. Live band and them singing live. OMG so darn talented. They have fun with each other and love their Armys.

Their vocals are so stable and they put such energy into all of their performances. Loved your reaction and I hope you react to more bts (and their live performances) in the future. They are performing in Souel, Korea. They build their sets to look like the award shows. I think it’s pretty amazing. You need to watch the Grammy performance because again they were in Korea and it looked just like the stage at the grammy’s. That set was pretty intricate and I was amazed at how well it was done!
every BTS performance there is always something new, for example, during the DYNAMITE era they performed the song more than 50 times but each performance was always different and the stage was also very good and totality
If you are interested in elaborate music arrangements I would suggest Save Me, Ddaeng, and The Truth Untold. They also give you a good understanding of exactly how broad their genres are

You are on point in catching their talents in live-singing while moving around and dancing..
It's not easy, and even though many groups from South Korea incorporate dancing in their performances, those who can pull the live-singing are so rare; even barely there actually (I never say there's none).
BTS commits to do it every single time they perform despite of difficulties. That's why you'll see their past performances had flaws, like short of breath, not in pitch, voice cracking, etc. But that's the beauty of live-singing, especially IF you're surrounded by the normalcy of lip-syncing (and do it with hardcore dancing). It takes a hell of talents to pull those things through, and people turned blind eye on them when they could do the rare things in that kind of environment (and excuse the others who did lip-syncing. Crazy)!!
Enough said about "others" (never have the intention to bring others down, just CRITICIZE the community)..
This BBMAs' Butter performance is definitely one of the best, the perfect performance on the record!! They are obviously getting better and better...

They are AMAZING Live performers. I've seen them 3 times live in concert and they are possibly better live! This production is common for kpop groups in Korea. Part of what makes kpop kpop is the visual aspect. Suga describes kpop as an amalgamation of visuals, vocals, dancing, fashion and production to create a full musical experience.
Well Awards show? mma 2019, mama 2019, mma 2020 and mama 2020... Even before it.. They make an award show become their mini concert live performing a few their song and it did LIT!!! What a performance and stamina with vocal

Their 1st English single "Dynamite" (2020 - mid pandemic) had +30 different sets & there was always a different element in styling/ choreo 🔥
They were great pre- pandemic, no matter what language they're singing in, people are just catching up when they've upped their game.

You should watching their singing live on MAMA2018 until 2020. Watching all the MV, fake love, black swan, mic drop. Every single songs was different genre, because BTS has their own genre. They are really good at singing live. Why? They are trained for 3 years before debut, doing practice dance for more than 10 hours a day (now is less because they were busy). How they can sing and dance at the same time? They were trained singing while treadmill. Dont be shy to be in this fandom...🤭 im happy to choose and stan for this amazing guys. The good things is.. they love their fans so much. Everything they got, they never forget to mentioning us ARMY !
