SHARING ROOMS - FOR 1ST YEAR STUDENTS.
It's extremely not understood how Management can take decision unilaterally to put 2 students in one room, which is meant for single student, by putting two cots ( no space for movement).
Can we share photographs - so that new students can change their thinking, without getting misguided by your video.
Hope you will get feedback from your source and try to give correct picture.

CSE me bahut jyda score krna hoga CSE ke students se hyda tbhi IIT me MTech CSE milegi. Or Biotech se MTech krne ke bad corr me jobs km hai but non corr me kafi opportunities milegi or research ke liye bhi scope hai

In the first year of B.Tech and M.Tech students get shared room. This all started after COVID19 in 2022. After second year they’ll get single room.

You can get it from here also for that you need do all the tests in IIT G hospital. It is better if you come with medical report signed by CMO from any government hospital before coming to IIT G

Bro,, what is the interview for Phd? What is the final selection process? Can I talk with professor before interview? How I can know under which professor the vacant seat is available?? Please suggest me??
Some Department and Centre of IIT G takes written test before interview and if you qualify then only you'll become eligible for interview. And some department and centre directly takes interview without written exam. One can email to a professor if you're interested in his research area. You cam discuss with professor about the available projects and your interests. But this is not a desired methods of selection in India. And also It can't give you a guarantee that he'll take you for PhD. Your selection is completely dependent on your performance in interview. And if any professor finds you suitable then he/she will select you, and you'll get to about it later that who'll be your PhD supervisor. But some departments has different methods where a student will choose his supervisor after getting admission.

Course work is now mandatory for everyone who'll take admission after July 2021

IIT G don’t offer PhD in life science. But are eligible to apply for PhD in Biosciences and Bioengineering, also check your eligibility in Agro and Rural Technology, Energy Science and Engineering and Nanotechnology of IIT G.

Hi bro, can you please tell what is the mess+hostel fees in iitg??
Mess Advance = 18000 for a semester.
Hostel Rent + Electricity and Water charges + Hostel fund + Hostel maintenance Charges = 7100 for semester.
Note: academic, gymkhana, medical, registration, travel assistant fund, examination fees are not included, which costs around 5000-6000 rupees

Maine guest house ki booking given time mai nhi ki . Bhaiya yeh boht important hai mere liye kyuki Maine Punjab se ana hai. Is there any alternate way to book the room
jb tk aapIIT G ke student nhi bn jate ho tb tk guest house book nhi kr skte. So jo bhi student first time IIT visit kr rhe hai unko hostel allot ho jayege same day me hi, pr apne sath parents ya family members ko lekr a rhe ho to apko abhi Guest house nhi milega. Aspas me knhi hotels me thehra skte ho unko. Ya caretaker se permission lekr apne room me rkh skte ho. Admission ke bad next time jb kbhi bhi koi family members visit krege unke liye Guest house book kr skte ho uska alag procedure hai.
