Hey! Total newbie here, just wanted to thank you for creating this guide and also the last one about events. It's the clearest explanation I've seen online so far. Keep up the good work! :D
This video saved my life! 💕 I was also that lonely person sitting in the middle of the crowd but when you said "it's like School Idol Festival" everything made sense 😂
The only thing that has confused me is the team building, since I don't have any problem regarding on building cards and resource utilization, and thanks to this I kinda get it now.
This was super helpful as a total newbie to this type of game. Thank you. Do you think you could do one on battle basics, how to choose who to take and also once in the battle, what to pay attention to in order to have the most success? I'm just guessing with the battles and I know there is actual strategy for them but I don't know what it is. Thank you so much for these intro guides!!
hi, thanks for the guides! i'm only just getting back into twst after 1-2 years and it's been a struggle relearning everything + all the new stuff :') i have a question btw, is it okay to spend your LP items for spamming lessons? or should i save them for events/other stuff?
I usually save mine up for events, but tbh I think it depends on how built your cards are. Like if you need to be running lessons bc you hit a hard boss fight and you're under-leveled, I think it's more worth it to just run an extra 10 lessons than save EVERYTHING for the next event.
Thank you! I thought it was very informative. I think my only question would be with uncapping SSRs, do we get those specific perfumes from events or are they only obtainable when we mlb another SSR similarly to how the Rs work? Hopefully I’m not confusing anything up
Nah, you're good! For SSR perfumes, they're only available during certain events and you can get them in the associated event shop. Afaik the only events that DON'T have SSR Perfumes are the Master Chef events. And yeah, I'd assume if you already have a fully uncapped SSR and you pulled it again, you'd get a Perfume from it; it's never happened to me so honestly I'm not sure but I would assume so.
Textbooks can be bought in the shop and also earned through daily alchemy lessons. And yeah there's two types of gems: paid and free. Paid gems are gems you pay for in the gem shop. Free gems are earned from logins, completing missions, etc etc
Hey question just started playing and got Ortho's Tums card and still confuse, i can still grovey aftter the event or do i have to wait until the event comes back? Still confuse about all of this
What about friendship lvl from the guest room thingy? Btw I got lucky to get a fully uncapped tsum rook card and recently groovifed my ladwear malleus sr card
This was made way before friendship levels existed. I'm still doing research on how long it takes to max it out but so far I have that it takes 40 visits to get to friendship level 10 and that's without using any items.
is there any other way to get those honey bottles other than exchanging tuna? i see people the same rank as me at 60+ levels but my highest card is at 21. i have just been relying on the extra character to win the battles but the inkblotted octopus is beating my ass, there's no way i can beat him with my current level but the only way to raise my characters is to do the lessons and collect more tuna, and the amount of bottles i can buy is also limited. i really wish i could use thumarks to buy stuff. i have no many that they feel useless.
You don't need to use the tuna for that! You can earn honey from doing history lessons. When you finish a lesson, they usually give you either the small, medium, or large honey. You might also get them from missions, but lessons are the easiest way to get honey.
@@princessmacarons9347 ?! and here i have been avoiding those because they give less exp. that makes so much sense because at the start i was so sure i was getting lvl up material from lessons but stopped seeing it and assumed maybe it was some other reward
@@hamtaru the alchemy lessons give less rank exp I think -10 from history lesson exp flight lessons give 80 rank exp and the 10 daily special elective lessons give 100 ranked exp and having your team at 60-50 lvl range as well as some good spell lvls will help during overblot Azul in my experience at least
Hi. I'm on the beginning of the video still but my current cards that I am using are Riddle (SSR), Cater (SSR), Jack (SSR) and Malleus Robe (SR) + Azul Lab (SR) I don't know if it's good.
I think it is, but then again, I'm of the opinion you can make good teams no matter your cards. As long as you're getting through battles with them, they're good. There is apparently """"meta"""" to Twst, but honestly, as long as you're winning battles, I wouldn't think too much about it.
@@What.A.Travesty Yeah I'm currently in that exact same nightmare. I don't mind buying the candies from the groovy shop but DAMN I wish the drop rates were a bit higher
Another question that I had is what's the name of the set (If they are called sets, events maybe?) that all of the boys are throwing cakes at each other? I've seen almost everyone but Riddle, is there is a place where I can find? Google did me no good
Those are the Union Jacket cards, they're the second round of birthday cards! I don't think Riddle's has been released yet idk when his birthday is, but the twst miraheze wiki should have it if it's been released.
Hi!! Can I ask what is the banner on the cards?? It has 3 stars how do I get that??? And does Riddles SSR card picture changes when you reach 45+ above?? I saw a player with the same SSR card that I have but they have different SSR card picture it's Riddle with Trey and carter in the library with riddle and some books Infront of them
The star banner is an indicator of whether or not the card has been Groovied or not. I flat out don't remember if I talked about Groovying in the video so sorry if this is a repeat but Groovying a card is a special mechanic in the game and it gives permanent stat boosts. To Groovy a card, you need to reach a certain level, vignette level and have the correct kind of Groovy candy for whatever card you want to Groovy. All SRs and SSRs have two sets of artwork: the default art, and then when you Groovy the card, you get a new piece of artwork. The new artwork doesn't come just by reaching a certain level.
I've briefly covered these topics in my Team Building and Overblot Riddle guides, but if you need something more in-depth then yeah, I can do one talking about elements and fights!
I actually have a segment on future banners in my twst gacha video! There's also the twst fan wiki on miraheze that has a list of banners and they also give card stats in case you want a deeper dive.
@@princessmacarons9347 don't forget about the 100 rank exp daily special elective lessons that are only 10 lessons a day guaranteeing 1000 rank exp per day at least
It's kind of both. For example, Dorm Leona has Vil as a buddy boost. You can use any Vil card with him to get that boost. But not every Leona card has Vil as a buddy, it's specific to Dorm Leona, so you need to double check who a card's buddies are.

Hm. If you're just starting out, I would say prioritizing leveling up would be the best so that way you aren't struggling in battles. Vignette is also pretty important, but it takes less time to max that out, not to mention with lessons you get a lot of the secret snacks. I think it's been a couple months since I've done flying lessons in JP just because I have a lot of secret snacks that I can use instead of doing lessons. Spell materials are something I personally only really think about after I've maxed out a card.
