You are a genius, I looked for how to disassemble this without resorting to a hammer and I couldn't find anything until I found your video tutorial, I deeply appreciate it, thank you very much, thank you very much
Thank you so much I have searched a lot on RUclips on how to open it but I didn't find anyone that made a video about it except you although it's not the same model as mine, but still braun as well and it has the same way to open. so thank you so much
I managed to get this opened as well. The plastic housing cracked slightly while I pushed the blade in the seam - in a couple of spots. The fault was identical to this video's: The switch spring was not soldered properly and had broken loose. I had to heat the spring up a long time before it accepted good contact with the molten solder. It seems to work now again.
Same problem , didnt have paper knife ,so used filet knife , after cuting myself twice , decide to use fire , so I melted all around and get it Open , clean a bit, fuse some metal and miracle happen it started working with no problems , so I set all parts like they was before and fuse them
If anyone has the same blender, the first thing to remove is the blue ring then maybe use a heat gun to weaken the glue around the rim before prying off the motor housing/ casing. Do not start with the top where the cable comes into the blender because you will end up breaking very useful couplers. That is not how disassembly of this unit was meant to be at all! Even using a box cutter blade is a very risky and dangerous undertaking: use a flat screw driver to gently pry the housing apart.
I have the same ditto copy…problem with is that its cement resistor is burntout / exploded / broken , so cant figure out its rating….( was something like 35W5RJ… as i remembered while fixing same push button connection).. i am stuck figuring out its cement resistor rating. Its Braun 120VAC- 200 watt . Please help
The top cover is extremely difficult to lift because of those plastic notches. Basically it's not made to be opened (a 'one way' design). Risk of breaking the plastic and damaging the gear inside. Try first ungluing the bottom blue ring if you can, but all in all this unit is not designed to be opened for repairs. Sad choice by Braun
It was much more difficult to take apart than you made it seem, but I did it! Not yet sure if I can fix it, though. Still haven't identified the problem.
Diane Harrell You made me laugh….you can tell by looking at his that it takes a little doin..like a lot off doin, probably the hardest part of it…I'd do it too, I still have mine from a while ago & their work horses + I'll try fixing anything past the point of making any kind of sense.
Hi every body ,I have a handblender elektrolux model ESTM6600 ,I couldn't find a video clip in RUclips to se how I can open it,I know how to repair the electrical fault which happen to it but my problem is ,I can not open the body of this handblender,is any body can give.me.some advice, unfortunately i couldn't find schematics manuals. Thanks for reading my words.
Thanks a lot, great instructions, though video was bad quality. Mine took a lot more than 2 mins to break the glue around the perimeter (more like 20-30 mins).
Yeah it pisses me off when someone does a demo with only his left hand. 8 minutes to show us how to open a blender! With both hands it would've taken only 3!
Awful!!! Bamix Of Switzerland is assembled with screws and very well designed, compared to this! And not so much more expensive. Long lasting if treated correctly. You buy one, and it is the first and the last one 😋😋.Think about it.
So sick of all this built-in obsolesce... make it as hard as possible to repair so the customer has to buy a new one. Really sucks and is horrible for our landfills. People need to start demanding reasonably repairable products!
