- Hello folks! Today I'm at a popular place in Tbilisi with another exciting flea market video, and we're checking out the new daggers and swords available at the market. This time there were a lot of interesting Caucasian weapons, especially antique old daggers and shashka swords.
And some daggers surprised me, quite rare with different stamps. And of course I was lucky, I accidentally discovered an interesting old thing for myself!
Enjoy your viewing. I hope you like the video, please leave a comment if it is worth continuing this format sometimes.
Sincerely, Alex. Thanks for attention!
Good luck and health to everyone! With best wishes, Alex!

This is making me miss my time living in Tbilisi. I loved spending time at the flea markets, looking through all these beautiful treasures. 🥰
Wow! Thank you! And have a good day ^_^
So envious... You have an eye for real treasures, can't wait to see this dagger being restored.
Thank you!)
The first sellers definitely knew what their daggers were worth, or they thought they did 😮
That was a lucky find! 😊
Fascinating stuff at the flea market once again. I liked the little bronze statues of the Yalta Conference leaders.
What a great resource for blades that you have in the local Flea Markets that you have there!
Thank you for attention!

Love the effort you put into your videos. Thanks for taking us with you!
Thank you so much! ^_^
Very good on the camera, thank you.
I’m drooling looking at those antique knives.
I agree, I'm in the same condition))
Georgia everyone. I never knew which Country you were from.
Thank you for all of the hard work and entertainment you give us. Beep Beep
Thank you)))
Are you an Armwrestling fan like most Georgians? I love the sport and Georgia has some of the best in the world. Levan, Irakli, Genadi, Reviz.
To be honest, I'm not a fan of this sport, but I know these winning athletes) I am glad to read your message
Ngl this was a really relaxing and nice video. Thanks for the translations and such too! It's been a while since I've been to a flea market around here, it appears I'll have to return soon...
Camera collection 🔥🔥🔥❤️👍
Watching from 🇮🇳🇮🇳
Thank you for interest!
Glad you found a treasure.. 👍👍
Loved all the different swords and knives I wish you would spend a little more time on more of the tools cause they all look fascinating and really cool
Thank you!
I agree
Thank you again for taking us with you to another flea market
Welcome and thank you for attetnion!
I look forward to your restoring that dagger. The steel looks excellent.
In the next restoration video there will be a previous small dagger that I bought at another flea market)
Thanks for doing that. I was surprised how expensive some of the daggers were. I'm glad you found a future project.
Thanks for attetnion.
Even though they were expensive, I saw a lot of very nice antique blades. I actually got chills looking at the blade from 1894. What a cool piece of history. Thank you for the walk through. Looking forward to see what you do with the blade you bought.
Hi, thanks for your attention. Yes, I really liked this dagger too!
A VERY EDUCATED VIDEO FOR ALL THE SELLERS. The client touched the blades and hadles of all serious daggers and bold silver 84 decorated shashkas with absolutely acceptable price (from 800$ for shaska and 500$ for Georgian dagger), he didn't even take a lupe with him to analyse the hallmark of German WWII Heer officer's dagger with broken logo, claiming its Solingen hallmark is real... and finally bought a rusty piece for nothing and even asked a retired man for discount. Please, if you don't have enouh money, don't visit such places, don't manipulate with weapon and don't look funny to weapon sellers (they will definetly remember you). I showed this video to the kids with idea of strange behavior of a FREAK WHOM BETTER EITHER TO IGNORE OR TO TAKE AWAY FROM SHOWCASES. Lets hope in Georgia there are more responsible buyers!
the guy who told him 1200 dollars, told me abou this blade 1200 lari lol which is like 800$
@@antuankosmin6852 These can be very Expensive, however in USA many do not understand the Values. At Auctions you can find daggers 🗡 for 300 - 1200 usd. My father owned one with a Silver Handle! He purchased in St Petersburg Russia in 2007 for approximately 400 usd, its Amazing with Old Coins 🪙 covering the handle!
On ebay one was for sale, ... they bent it and used it as a ' Draw Knife ' or spoke shaver for wood work. I've always liked these types of antiques.
@@ScrewsAndTools I will sell a sword more than 3 centuries from the Ancient Saka
I'm glad I watched to the end, you made a really good buy with that one. Looking forward to the restoration!
Thank you! ^_^
Beautiful Georgia Tbilisi 💝💝💝💕💕
Thank you so much!!
That's one of me and my wife's favorite things to do. Is to look at flea markets and peddalers malls. I look at the old knives and she looks at the old crafts and jewelry.
Hello! Thank you so much for attetnion and happy new year.

Great video, enjoyed it very much
Thank you so much! ^_^
What a great market. Lol I'd go broke real quick as there was so many different things I like. . There were some nice blades there as well, but It's a bit of a shame that the sellers had polished them. And that dagger you bought was an absolute bargain. Good score.
Hi! I also like to go to such places, there is always something interesting there! Thank you for watching my content and Happy New year!
Wow old items😍😍
What a fascinating artistic language, the metalwork is beautiful.
Thank you!
That was great... Very interesting..
Lot's of homewares..
Great video!
I am from Iraq and I wish to visit this wonderful place, but I do not know in which country this market is located Thanks to the owner of the channel and the owner of the beautiful content
I thought sure, you would have gone back for the dagger with the belt.
I'd love to explore a market like that! Reminds me of a visit to Ukraine a long time ago... Wish I could retire to shopping like that as a hobby!
Very interesting what they sell there-tons of license plates, and at 19:00 there is a Moroccan "Koumyja" (dagger) in the "tourist edition" from the 1990s... Wonder how that comes to Georgia.
Congratulation!
Thanks very much for that, I really enjoyed it. I feel your pain, my wants are never met by my wallet 😂 ... but great find with the dagger.
Oh yes, you understand me))
great flea market, good one, keep well...
That is a magnificent flea market 👍👍👍
Thank you for attetnion
Super cool les têtes
😊
Interesting to see all the American license plates. The daggers and swords were fascinating.
Thank you for attetnion!
Was about to comment on the license plates
there is so much stuff id love to get my hands on. old billhooks and sabres are hard to find so often in US
Thank you for your attention and interest!)
I Love knife
Me too ^_^
How does anyone sell anything at such high prices😬? Lucky you were able to find someone willing to deal reasonably👍
Designed for those who do not know and do not understand
Holy crap as recent as two years ago, how'd those get halfway around the world at all let alone that fast
Very nice 👍
Thank you for interest!
I think I saw one of my old vehicle license plates. (Pennsylvania, US).
If i may ask you, a k89 bayonet how much is in that Tbilisi flea market? You see any? Thank you.
No problem, if I see it, I'll write to you. Just in case, write me a personal message on Instagram so that I don't forget
I enjoyed the Flea Market experience again, especially seeing all of the knives and swords. The price they were asking for the swords seemed really expensive. Are those prices normal for that flea market? Thanks.
Thank you for your attention and interest. I agree with you that the prices are expensive, but these are the initial ones and if you show the money to the seller, you can negotiate))
@@ScrewsAndTools some time when you go to the flea market it would be interesting to watch you negotiate for something you later repair and make new. Also to see how much it looks like it would be worth after you repaired it at the flea market. Thanks for you interesting videos.
@@darrellboyd Well, I've already bought a couple of times (and showed it on the video), now I have to restore them. But I won't sell them. because I really love daggers, but I don't think they gave a lot of money because they are dealers and greedy people)
@@ScrewsAndTools that's OK. It's just an idea. Thanks
haha)))
I need to move there 😳
Expensive!
Yes
Thanks for video but which day and where is it 😅
Tbilisi, weekend
Kafkas Kamasını Bedevaya Aldın Helalolsun.
Excuse me, may I, with your permission, know the price of the sword that was in your hand, how much?
Hello! yes sure, that caucasian shashka price was 1200 usd
You should set up a both and sell your creations.
I wanted to create my own store on the etsy service, but it is not supported in Georgia (
I would spend every penny I had on steel. :D
Mutually! Me too)
It's actually haunting the amount of gear they have that's blatantly been taken from dead fighters in the past 2/300 years.
Reasonably priced to considering some of that in the UK and US would go for 1000's more, theres some almost priceless pieces there
Thank you for interest!
Why did i just discover this channel
Thank you for attetnion!
Price high,but beautiful daggers
Yes, price is unreal... some daggers yes, agreee with you
imagine getting one of the $800 ones.
Nice
Thank you!!
Good video. From 30 to 20. Good bargain. But why sashkas are so expensive?!
Hi! Thanks for attention. Shashkas with a good old stamp, the condition is good and the item itself is more appreciated.
@@ScrewsAndTools i see. But A rusty sword cannot be 1200 usd in a flea market. Otherwise it would be an auction house in London!
These are great (especially this at 14:54) but this is a tourist market with tourist prices. These guys all have Phd's in Psychology from Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University LOL. This is great stuff you show here and very exciting visiting such markets. You have now 119K +1 new subber!
Greetings! Thank you for your attention and interest and subscription! You probably lived here, because you told me well and briefly about the situation in the video))
isnt the flea market supposed to have cheaper costs or are the products just that antique,...btw loved the video and the products.
Most of this flea market is designed for foreigners
i once found a picture of stalin in such a place i bought it and burned it on place i mean it's stalin after all!
18:20 - The odds you could find a French folding knife on a flea market in Tbilissi...
Could you restore an Imperial Russian saber like the one at 8:27 (the second last one on the table)? Exactly the one you look at 10:21?
I am curious, could I buy you an object from those flea markets? In France they are really, REALLY rare
Hello, thank you for your attention. Yes, I can, of course it will take time, but it is possible to do it.
@@ScrewsAndTools oh wow nice! Especially because that's one of my preffered sword type :)
Aside money, tell me, I could exchange you a blade/dagger from France if possible as I see you seem to love daggers :)
@@Pedro-hz1gd Yes, I love daggers very much. Do you know my instagram? If anything, link to the description of the video. You can write to me and we will be able to discuss all the issues more specifically, with photos and ext. information)
@@ScrewsAndTools no problem, I do that Asap
I just want to inform you that, unlike Georgia, Russia and many eastern countries where Kossacks were present, you have less daggers in France (mainly knives, bayonets, and short swords)
