There's a difference between believing in GOD and placing your faith in GOD. The majority of people believe in GOD but very few have repented of their sin, placed their faith in GOD, and are born again by the Spiritand water. Begin rephrasing the question and you'll get a very different response.

Many people believe in God but we have idolatry in our hearts. It’s from beginning of time. People are always choosing idols over God. Idols can be money, alcohol, sex, drugs, self gratification. We are always trying to seek comfort. Instead of turning to God for comfort we turn to things ☺️

I too agree with the man of God, Dee1 for drawing a line. All of The Most High's sons and daughters need to draw a line. And I respect those who have and who do. We are accountable for this walk. And the spiritual laws that back this walk will expose the human soul when it is misrepresenting the fruit of The Most High's character and His image. I know what it is like to "straddle the fence" and that particular walk ain't worth 2 cents. For one, it supports hypocrisy and two, it leaves your soul uncovered and in danger of eternal separation from The Most High God. And The Messiah Jesus Christ didn't lay down His life for me so I could destroy my own soul. When my yes became real for The Most High God, the line was drawn, and I haven't looked back since. So I appreciate you all in the way you are standing in your walk with The Most High God. And I appreciate the truths you have shared in this dialogue. Because it is easy for anyone to proclaim the title of a christian or a believer, but it takes a totally different disposition to express the structure of The Most High's image and His Kingdom. That disposition comes with a real cross. And that cross comes with scars, wounds, and suffering. A human soul can bear the weight of this kind of life, because The Most High built the human soul to bear the weight of His image. But this walk is not something to take lightly. It is not something to play with. It will expose any person who approaches it incorrectly, especially someone who tries to treat it as a common or random religious practice. This walk will make you and it can also break you (in a fruitful way or from a place of judgement). And I want to share something else with you if that's ok. I saw that two of the men of God were speaking about "partnership" or having certain people to support the assignments that The Most High God has placed in your care. I do believe that The Most High God will bring in the necessary resources for your assignments and for the ministries you are building in The Most High's Kingdom. I truly do believe that. But in the meantime, I would like to remind you of this. The Most High God used quite a few ancestors in The Scriptures in some very profound and phenomenal ways, and they had limited resources, even to the point where some of them had to totally depend upon The Most High God for everything. I'm talking about people like the 12 disciples. Remember they gave up everything to follow The Messiah, and they ended up turning the world upside down. They didn't have a substantial amount of resources at their hands. But they were effective and changed a lot of lives and are still talked about today. Their mark in the earth is deeply impressed in this realm. They wrote books with limited resources. They changed lives with limited resources. But The Most High God made sure they were taken care of by people whom He knew would genuinely minister to their needs. Look at prophet Elisha. This man of God left wealth. He left his inheritance behind for the heritage and inheritance of The Most High. And with limited resources he moved in great power and phenomenal influence. And so did the prophet Elijah. And so did the apostle Paul and Silas, and Barnabas. Here's the lesson: The Most High God does not allow anything to hinder Him from moving mightily in the lives of His born again sons and daughters. He will not wait til you get the necessary resources so He can use you in a phenomenal and life changing way. He can take your assignments into a dimension of influence where money cannot take them. He is never restricted to the things that we use in the earth, especially to things like currency. He created currency, which means, He does not necessarily have to use that to use you in a mighty and powerful way. You all just have to elevate in how you see Him in your assignments and believe that there is nothing impossible with Him on this level. If He did it for precious souls like Paul, John, Peter, Mary, Matthew, Elisha, Moses, Ezekiel and Elisha, and so forth, He will also do it for you. Because you all are just that special to Him. The thing is if it’s appealing to the world it won’t be viewed as of God, look at all the mega church pastors and artists, Mike Todd, Steven Furtick, Lecrae, TD Jakes, even Kanye, Christians refuse to embrace them because they appeal to the masses. Good talk, but speaking with the show hosts is aiming too low. The message does reach the listeners, but It's the program director, show producer, their bosses and the corp that owns the station pushing the toxic music. The Breakfast Club are just well-paid public spokesmen that co-sign the agenda, and endorse artists their told to.
I see both sides. As much as I love Dee 1 his music and I love God and the Word, there is perspective. I see when rappers say it's entertainment. Just like movies. I love to watch John Wick, Equalizer, Bad Boyz, Creed ect... there is a lot of cussing, killing, alcohol and drug use in those movies. There are a lot of Christian movies and I can't tell you one em because I don't watch em. Have no desire to. I loved the 10 Commandments by Cecil B Demile and will watch that today still no hesitation. But I don't see Christian based movie producers going up to Hollywood and telling them stop glorifying murder killing demons.and ghosts in scary movies ect... I do think that music has an impact on youth because the more you play it the more it gets in your spirit. I don't think movies much of an impact like that, but that's just me. Some people arr more inclined to speed leaving the theater after watching Fast and Furious which why I don't go to the movies to watch that. I'm not saying Dee should stop. His message is a light to the world and it gives a point of view that we need to think about. I'd rather listen to him Crae, Bizzle, Aha, Andy ect.... Hey I even used to rap (check "Gpayne06" if u don't believe me, I used to spit gospel for real) but I understand what the other rappers are saying if there's an understanding. Dee is using his gift that God gave him for ministry which is rapping (which is not in the Bible) the others guys are using rapping to make money with negative messages. As long as there is someone who will pay them to do that it will exist. Now if we had people to pay them to do more positive rap and switch the script where there is no lucrative gain on make garbage than I'm pretty sure we can get some creativity that will sound good. I'm grateful the CHH artist and positive artist in general that put out great content for us to enjoy. There's soo much content out there to enjoy to me it drowns out whatever playing on the radio. I just listen Pandora. But that's just me
